Cote Hays Galleria . The food was nice waiter nice but the terrace was over run with mice!!!!! The staff did not seem to be surprised so this is probably an ongoing issue couldn?t believe the casual response of the staff we had to run out ruined our evening !

@Côte in ChiswickYesterday Saturday 5/ 08/ 2023. my sisters and i were at your chiswick branch for lunch .Unfortunatley it wasn?t a very good experience . I live in chiswick so I often go there. Changes to this branch compared to what it was is not for the better.Yesteray 4 out of 6 of us ordered the crab starter , the menu decribed it as having avocado CRAB MAISONCrab, avocado, cucumber, capers, shallots, mayonnaise, toasted sourdough baguetteIt didn?t have any avocado or capers or shallots. It did have far too much mayoOur main course was Duck confit . The sauce was not an orange sauce as described but more of a horrible sad excuse for gravy. We spoke to the manageress . She apologised and said the management needed to change the description. Needless to say it was all in all a very disappointing Birthday celebration for my niece.I hope my complaint is taken seriously. I have been going there for 10 years I have never had a bad experience like this.A fiend of mine had the same experience with one of your seafood dishes. Ingredients changed beyond recognition.Kind regardsMaria De brito

There wasn't an option to give zero stars. Nutshell: The worst 'service' I have ever experienced and excrement left around the toilet.Booked for my Birthday lunch, for 2. Brighton restaurant. We picked Cote because it is usually pretty speedy and reliable and we knew we could be in and out and back to the celebrations. No-one goes to Cote for a Michelin experience, let's be honest. We go because it's like a high(er) end fast food chain.McDonald's would have been a better option. I regret not picking there for my 40th.Requested on the booking a spot a little quieter if possible.Arrived and was seated in the dark, right next to the loading bay where crates and boxes were coming in AND the staircase to the kitchen and toilets. There literally wasn't a worse table in the entire restaurant.Waited 30 minutes for someone to come to the table to offer a drink. Asked twice for some water, still nothing. At 40 mins in, still without being served, I asked to move to another table.I finally managed to beg again for some tap water. It didn't come. I also mentioned we had food allergies and questioned if the bread was a safe option to have. The manager brought some bread over, and I asked if it had been checked to see if safe. She had no idea what I was talking about and told me I should have been given an allergy tablet to look at. I explained we hadn't even been offered a drink yet and we had been there for almost an hour. Her response: " I feel like I'm in a sitcom". Weird reply. I guess she was trying to be funny. Not really appropriate.I asked if there was a problem in the restaurant that day (clearly there was) and she said no. I asked if she was sure because it was my birthday and we really wanted to have a nice time. She lied to our faces. Had she just apologised and told the truth, we could have just left and gone elsewhere - no problem. We were finally served. Food - average. All around us tables were left uncleared and people were sitting with no food in front of them. As new customers came in, the tables were wiped down and reset right in-front of them. This is on a Tuesday. There was clearly a huge staff problem. We waited nearly 20 mins to order our desserts.I gave up waiting and went to the loo. Most disturbingly, on 'alighting' from the seat I saw to my absolute disgust that there was faeces smeared all around the toilet rim. I can't explain how absolutely disgusted I was - and still am.The manager who didn't want to acknowledge there was a problem smiled her way through me telling her that someone else's poo was possibly on my body. As if I was casually saying there was a speck of dust on the table. She is woefully undertrained and out of her depth. She asked if we wanted dessert. I said only if it can arrive within 10 minutes because we'd been there over 2 hrs. Amazingly, it came in 9.Again I said there is clearly a problem. Again, it was denied.I rushed dessert keen to get home and bath after the bathroom experience - the day entirely ruined. At long last the manager seemed to acknowledge there had been an issue and said she would comp the bill. I said we appreciate the gesture but a 50 quid bill doesn't compare to the day she had ruined. Again, far too young and inexperienced for the job, she said, " I can see you won't forgive us...". Well, no. We won't. This isn't an emotional situation - it's practical: Cote is part of the service industry. Comping the bill is the very LEAST they could do. They ruined a special day and left a horrendous memory in it's place. How naive and classless to think that a free meal would make it all okay. All they needed to have done was tell the truth in the first place - that there was a dire staffing issue - and we would have had the choice to go elsewhere and celebrate. By lying they removed our ability to make that decision. And we didn't even pay for the meal. What a waste of everyone's time.I want Head Office to know about this. What's their

On the 1st February 2022 I went for dinner with my mum and son at Cote brasserie Amersham branch. Myself and mum had pavlova as desert ,none of waiters come once to check if we like the desert also none of them show their face with the starter or main .the desert was a pile of whipped cream with few crumbs of meringue priced at £6.75. we were returning customer as until 1st February ,visiting and eating at Cote at least every 2 weeks. After the dinner myself and m fall sick in 2 hours since arriving at home. I wrote an email to Cote brasserie Amersham and I message them on Facebook but no reply. I think customer service is changing on a decline note and getting sick from a dear pile of whipped cream called pavlova is totally unacceptable

As a regular client and fan of Cote Restaurants (Sevenoaks, Guildford, Woking and Wimbledon) am disgusted with lack of response to request to book a table for 11 to share my birthday with my family and grandchildren. Received 2 email acknowledgements saying response in 48 hours but nothing received after about 9 days so booked elsewhere. Unsatisfactory and can't book directly with the Sevenoaks restaurant. So unhappy not sure I want to use again.

Stopped at the Cote Brasserie in Exeter on Saturday lunch... Service terrible, we were on the 1st floor and the manager ( italian ) ??? really needs more training in customer service, dismissive and so rude.Dont think so I will return again , what a shame on them where they used to be a place where people always wanted to spend their money

What a dissapointment at your St Martin's lane restaurant last night .( Valentine's day) to find the only menue available was the Valentine's day one. Three course is too much for us . At £30 It's a waste of money . The regular menue is just right. As regular customer's we feel very let down, we didn't stay. Judging by the vacant table's other's thought the same.
