Sam in this branch is incredibly rude & disrespectful. Not cooperative at all and spoke like he owned the bank. Should be taken notice of immediately. Not returning to this branch ever again.

Sam at the Bishopsgate branch had the infinite patience to stamp my 120 pages of yearly statements for Visa purposes, I can't thank him enough.

Since my first visit to this bank, Sam has assisted me in getting the job done easily and happily. gave me a deep impression. The second time I had to handle some matters, I was able to complete them quickly with Sam's help. His professionalism and service were very good.

Bald guy with glasses who?s clearly never learnt to speak English politely. Rude, rude, rude, beyond words. Please don?t hire people like him to serve customers? absolute joke of a branch. Go to the Moorgate one instead!Update: 25/01/2024 - He still works there! Unbelievable! Couldn?t get anything done because I couldn?t go in without him harassing me. GET RID OF HIM!!!!!!

Only one person serving behind counter so queue was long and people had queries that took time to deal with. One person by queue seeing if anyone could use the ATM machines instead. Had a US currency cheque to add to my account, but told this facility will stop by end of January. Don't know if this is at all Barclays banks or the Bishopsgate branch.

I came in today to open a Euro bank account. Waited for over an hour while several other customers who arrived later were called before me. The receptionist kept assuring me that I would be called ?in the next few minutes?, and never clearly explained why I appeared to be so low on the priority ladder.To be clear, I would have been happy to make an appointment and come back at a later date, but I would appreciate being told that clearly instead of being constantly misled on wait times.Two stars because once I was seen to the process was relatively quick and pain free. But the waiting experience definitely leaves a bad taste.

It is very conveniently located around the corner from Liverpool Street station. It is very big, modern, and spacious inside with many very easy to use, modern, self-service machines. These machines have different slots to enter each item and a big touch screen with easy to follow guidance. There are many polite and helpful bank employees guiding you to the correct service inside the branch.

The counter closes at 2pm and the staff are completely unwilling to help when it gets near to 4pm.
