The Eastern European middle age light colour hair lady at the cashier?s ( at the back of the bank, who was working on the 5th March at 2:30 pm) needs to get some customer service skills and basic etiquette knowledge. Feels like coming to a prison when served by her rather than going to your local bank as a loyal customer.Very rude, especially if comparing to other members of staff.

This isn?t about this branch in particular however I wouldn?t recommend Lloyds, I lost my purse a month ago now and ordered a new card straight away. I am still yet to receive it even though they claimed it could take 7 business days? I?ve lost my card before and had the exact same experience. Luckily I am also with Monzo and that replacement card came within 3 days.

My experience with Lloyd's Bank was frustrating and inconvenient. After being a loyal customer for a year, my card was suddenly blocked, and the customer service provided no immediate resolution.Later on, a representative told me that my account is due to be closed on the next day. I visited the bank in person to discover the reason, but various departments couldn't provide answers until I reached the account closure team. They claimed the reason was confidential and mentioned sending two letters two months prior, which I never received. Moreover, I received my monthly account statement just a week before this incident(which was so normal), and they claim that they've sent me the notice twice (where I haven't received even one), is surely a lie. This led to major inconveniences, especially since my salary was due on the closing date, and I had no other means of payment. I had to walk home for over 45 minutes after work due to the lack of a working card. This experience was frustrating and could have been handled better by the bank.

Really helpful when I took my teenager in to open a U19 account. Friendly person at the door to point us in the right direction and helpful manager to run through the account. Great experience ? Thank you

Went in to exchange an old withdrawn £10 note this morning. After getting past the unsmiling, officious bouncer (what else do you call those people who stand there and vet customers as they walk in?), I went to the counter and was told I have to deposit the cash first and then withdraw it. When I said I don't have an account with them, they told me they won't exchange the note and that I'd have to go to a bank with whom I have an account. News to me - it's never been the case when I've done this in the past. Anyway, so I went to Santander, waited in line for 10 minutes and then, on reaching the counter the cashier took my tenner and replaced it with a new one right away. That's it. No questions asked. Took less than 30 seconds. I have never, in my half-century of existence, held an account with Lloyds Bank. And my experience with them today will ensure that that'll remain the case for the remainder of my life. Well played, Lloyds. (Slow clap).

The HMV dog was buried on the site of this bank, pretty cool if you ask me. :)

Lloyds Bank (Kingston upon Thames):Worst Customer Service / Worse Branch ever!I would give this branch ZERO stars if I could! All staff unfriendly!Branch Manager unconcerned and failed to manage staff. There was one member of staff who was aimlessly walking around doing nothing!Half an hour waits for cashiers! There were long periods of time where there was only ONE cashier available! There were also periods of time where there were NO CASHIERS available!Unfriendly and ill mannered staff! No pro activeness!Long queue of well over 12 Customers! No apologies from any staff who just didn't care and were uninterested in delivering the 'high standard' of Customer Service which Lloyds 'claim' they deliver!Visited two other banks, BARCLAYS & HSBC - better staff, better service!AVOID! BANKING WITH LLOYDS!

My business account is with this bank for a few years now. I recently went in to deposit some cash and I was asked a question in quite a rude manner ( so where does this money come from?) I wasnt offended by being asked, as i understand, and agree for tight security. It was the words used and the manner in which it was used. I KNEW I I was being stereotyped at this point. to add to this the lady at the counter refused to give me a receipt, she asked me to read a booklet on security. I complained about this, asked to see someone in authority and was still treated rather badly. outcome is I will take my business account elsewhere in future.

Not the Lloyds we once knew.Customer service has gone down the drain. This used to be a stellar bank, but now they'll hire anyone. On the phone and in their processes they've become incompetent. Most of the employees don't even know what a chargeback is. They had my family waiting for over 120 days and then tell us it's too late to send to visa, Lloyds is supposed to send it to visa ASAP but they left it over 100 days before sending it though.Go elsewhere, hopefully there's another bank that holds onto customer service and intelligent staff.

Been a LLoyds customer for years (30) and went in to the Kingston branch by appointment to try and sort powers of attorney for elderly relatives and was told I could park at the back of the branch. Was issued a ticket by a private parking company, despite being given permission which is escalating in cost and LLoyds have been no support to have it dismissed. Amazing how they keep wanting my business but customer care seems so unimportant
