They cancelled appointments numerous times / didn?t show up / wouldn?t replace washing machine parts - have now been left without a working washing machine for nearly 4 months.DO NOT USE

Do not trust them. They have taken payment in advance. Gave me an all day appointment. Then a 3 hour slot between 5pm-8pm. No one showed up, but now they claim the job was done! No phone call, no refund, nothing.

Terrible service!!! They charged u? a fee in advance of the visit and didn?t show up. We called them and they told us the engineer is on his way. We waisted the whole day waiting and called them again and they told us they will refund the money. We are still waiting for the refund and we?ll ask the bank to chase the payment.

Unreliable company offering services to Homerecue247.The company Homerecue247 is unreliable when it comes to providing services. We reported a faulty oven in November last year, and as of February 2024, it still has not been fixed. The engineer from Capital Repairs did not do the job properly, necessitating another call to the company. They gave us an appointment for 2nd January, but then rescheduled, citing a lack of available engineers in the area. On the scheduled day of 31st January, we waited all day, only to receive an SMS from the engineer just before 5 pm, stating that he was on the way, but he never showed up. When we contacted Capital Repairs, they said they would have to reschedule the job. There have been constant delays, and it appears they rely on a single engineer for London, which explains the missed appointments. It's disappointing that their engineer couldn't even fix a simple cooker oven.

Very poor service. Lots of sweet talking before the money is paid and agreement to order the simplest parts is reached. Then silence for over 3 months while we dont have filtered drinking water. Would not recommend and be wary of what they say. They ordered a part that they didn't even need to replace, and I foolishly trusted them.Would never use it again. Very high handed attitude by the service team on call. No attempt to show the least bit of courtesy.

Were very very good , now very poorOur gas cooker , in common with most cookers needs a working timer display. The display starting displaying random characters, which was solved by switching the display off at the plug. Eventually it gave up, so it was pretty obvious some sort of new circuit board was needed. Their engineer came out and agreed that this was the case and said the spares people would be in touch to give us the cost and arrange a "free" 2nd visit. No call came and when I chased I was told that the cooker was obsolete and spares could not be ordered and that the sales team would be in touch, but no call was received. I ordered and fitted the circuit board myself, a bit tricky but not that difficult. I asked for a refund of the call out charge, but was still told that the cooker was obsolete and spares unobtainable. Draw your own conclusions

I cannot speak highly enough about Capital Repairs. From my initial phone call through to Zulfi the engineer carrying out the repair everything was excellent including communication with me the customer.

Company came as planned at the correct time. Have phoned several times no reply but they have taken 108.00 pounds with a promise that someone would tell me the price of the part that has to be repaired.

Wow where to begin with Capital Repairs. Literally the worst company I have ever come across and who do not care for their customers.Our washing machine has being getting 'fixed' since August 2023 and we're now in January 2024.What started as a simple fix of a softener dispenser not working has involved multiple different parts being fitted and still not resolving the issue.The last time an engineer came in mid-December he completely broke our machine when putting it back together. And told us we need yet another part.For the last three weeks our engineer has not even bothered to show up or even let us know they wouldn't be coming. We've missed two friends birthdays now as we've had to wait around all day.Despite multiple calls to the office and they always ensure us the engineer is on his way, they never are.I've lost count of the times I've had to call and either no one seems bothered or ever gives us a call back.We've requested to speak to the manager several times and have been fobbed off without explanation or a call back.We've had no washing machine since December the 16th and laundrettes are costing us a fortune.Whenever they offer a new booking slot, its not next day to say sorry they didn't make it but literally 10 days later and then they never turn up.Honestly do not know how this company is in business.Oh and they say they're open Sundays but they're not.

The Capital Repair service has been lacking in efficiency. I encountered a delay in the repair process for my washing machine, which has been non-functional for over three weeks. Although the initial visit was promptly organized, subsequent actions were disappointing. Following the discovery of a necessary part replacement during the first visit, payment was made in advance, but the service failed to maintain effective communication and timely follow-up.It took six days to order the required part, with multiple follow-up calls from my end. Unfortunately, they did not provide updates on the progress. Despite the delay in obtaining the part, the service declined to schedule the follow-up engineer visit until the part had arrived. Contrary to their assurance of notifying me upon the part's arrival, I did not receive any communication.Upon my inquiry about the progress, it was revealed that the part had arrived. However, the service was unwilling to dispatch an engineer for an additional five days. Throughout the process, they were dismissive of my concerns and feedback, consistently referring to their established procedures.

Belling no longer make the element for our cooker and neither our repairer down here nor myself could source one. Luckily I was put onto Capital Repairs and contacted Dipak Jani who found us one in France. He obtained the element, checked it, posted it to us and kept us informed of progress the whole time. It is rare that one receives such excellent service. Many thanks.

Sounded like excellent pricing for a repair service: if they need to order a part, the second visit is free (you only pay for the part).Unfortunately, after the initial visit they made no effort to order the required part and the service went from friendly to basically non-existent. No wonder, I say, the second visit is not important to them because there is no new money to be had. This explains why they have tried every delaying tactic possible. No communication unless you chase at every step.I wasted £96 on them and ended up buying a new machine.Never using them again.
