The Dorset oysters were very disappointing: small, difficult to extract from their shells and the sauce mignonnette watery to the point of tastelessness. Came here to eat the 3 course for £17.50 which was Salmon starter, French burger and then cheesecake. Good value for the set menu. So disappointed to send back inedible over salted mains dish. Offer for another mains on the house declined and not what you expect from this class of restaurant. Would query title of salt cod fish cakes which were 100% fritters in batter not breadcrumbs. Dessert however was exquisite.By the way the hand soap and cream... read full comment
