Bought a sofa from DFS and it smells like a wet mop.The smell is so extreme.Called customer services and they said it would take 3 months for the smell to go away.They then hung up the phone.Very bad customer service.

Almost unbelievable this actually happened. We were out looking at a sofa which was shown as a markdown on "immediate delivery clearance" with the reason listed as it being a display piece.One of the in store sales attendants told us it would be delivered in 3 weeks and vaccum cleaned. The other option is we pay 90 quid for a 2 day delivery. Which is weird for something that was listed as immediate delivery but small issue; moving on.The in store manager came to us and told us the delivery would in 2 days no cleaning option whatsoever and we have to pay 90 quid anyway.Upon inspection we noticed a tear at the back of the sofa which was nowhere listed as the reason. During our conversation we even asked why it was being marked down and the sales associate explicitly said it was because it was a display piece. When broughtt to the attention of the manager she said she already knows about the tear. So keep in mind they knew about the damage and chose to tell you half the reason for a markdown knowing you'd be more likely to purchase not knowing the other half and have different stories in delivery based on who you talk to?Am I buying furniture when I walk in here or playing the lottery?

I was initially hesitant due to the mixed Google reviews, but my experience with DFS (Brent Cross) exceeded expectations. Placed an order on Sunday, and it was delivered promptly on Friday without any issues. Rash, the staff member, was exceptionally helpful, offering great suggestions and even treating us to hot chocolate. Overall, a positive and satisfying shopping experience!

This review is solely for Jas! I've been looking for a sofa for months and this was my second time visiting this store. She was so patient and knowledgeable on style and dimensions to make sure you leave with the best furniture for your space!

Have been on a shopping spree with a number of furniture stores (including furniture village and sofology) to kit out a new flat. All have offered some sort of discount or offer such as free delivery, apart from dfs. When I enquired about any offers, and told them of the extra mile their competitors were going to, I was instantly dismissed.

Extremely arrogant and rude customer service in store. I have never experienced this level of rudeness from any shop keeper in my life. When asked for help, the salesman said that he?s busy with another customer and couldn?t do anything to help us. That?s understandable but all we wanted to know was that he would get back to us but no. He started arguing with us saying ?why you staring at me? What do you want me to do? Leave the customer?? We are customers too and there is a polite way to respond even if you?re busy. There was no manager to report to and only 2 staff in the huge store. This rudeness is after already buying and paying a deposit for a sofa. After reading all the other google reviews on this store, I wonder why no action is being taken. All I see if multiple reviews of extremely rude staff and dissatisfied customers! TAKE ACTION DFS.

Dfs took 4 months to deliver one single left hand facing sofa. I wanted a sofa with the arm rest on the left hand but it came 4 months later and the arm rest is on the right hand not left. The description is confusing. One of the first colleagues I spoke to on the phone from dfs was also confused by the description and said she will get someone else to call me. I have received 2 calls after that from 2 different people asking the same thing and now the third call is from a manager, Richard, who has contacted me to tell me I won?t be getting the £100 I paid for delivery back and on top of that, I will be charged 20% of the total product price for them to take it back. He was not understanding at all of the situation and kept arguing back saying it is not their fault and it?s as per the description, a very confusing description in fact. So I agreed to pay the 20% if I get the £100 I paid for delivery back as it was delivered way later than promised. Richard refused and said he can give me a HAMPER for the delay!!!! I asked him what the purpose of his phone was if he cannot help me or provide me other options. He kept saying he wants to help but provided no other options. He in fact resulted in practically threatening me that if I take too long to agree with him to pay the 20% then they will not be taking it back at all. I don?t understand how you can have this attitude or speak to someone like that after you have taken 4 months to deliver a single arm sofa which was meant to take 5-8 weeks.

Manager is extremely rude! Goes around saying 'im the manager' here'. We took our dog in to try the sofa we chose and he told her to get off.. it says the following on the website....can you bring dogs in? Absolutely! As well as carrying a range of sofas in dog-friendly fabrics, we're happy to welcome the whole family in our stores - including your dog! We want them to feel at home whilst you browse, so we don't mind if they hop up onto the sofa with you.So we are no longer buying our sofa from DFS. Good job manager!

I normally don?t like to write reviews but after I had such bad experience with this DFS I felt like leaving review I been there to buy a sofa but there was an Indian lady she was extremely rude as well as felt like she was kind racist.I wanted to try recliner sofa she said you will have to bring yourself in near the switch to plug in to try I reminded her that you will have to ask your staff to help me out to plus this sofa so I can try this is kinda first time ever in uk someone on store told me help yourself.In short she is such a disgrace?

Lovely pieces at great prices, not to mention the fantastic team! My wife and I purchased a beautiful and comfortable living room sofa today ?? and we are very pleased ?
