Waitrose implementing DEI in Chelsea means standards plummeted. Often prices are missing. Staff who don't see it as their job to serve you, provide missing prices (go to the till yourself) or keep the shelves ready for your purchase. Yet hang around gossiping. Service is now better in Lidl xUpdate. I went in last week. Got 2 sweet and sour as they were on offer. At the self service £2.40 each. The member of staff did check. Told me they were not on offer like I had imagined it. Today, I saw the offer still there so got another member of staff who said that the offer was in January it's now March. This is how it is in the store now. How many people have been overcharged in 2 months. Neither time was I offered for display price. But they do have a new black male on the self service check out today who I witnessed helping someone with a basket. It really stood out.

Today my wife and I visited Waitrose for shopping but unfortunately we left the store without finishing and taking all our needs.Although Waitrose had promised to keep keen observation and not to let arrival of various animals and dogs inside the stores for keeping Waitrose stores at high standards of hygiene, but regretfully all the promises were vain.Today around 15:30 to 15:45 a lady with her dog that was sniffing the shelfs and even was climbing the vegetable shelves, so the lady hugged the dog and later she tired and again freed it to walk. We are surprised that why increasing or keeping the minimum standard level of hygiene is not important to Waitrose and its Partners! We believe Waitrose staffs check the store by the cameras all the times, but it seems the people at the cameras are not interested in keeping a big chain store at the minimum standards. My wife and I were really disgusted to take any items from the vegetable row that the dog was sniffing and put its hands on. This time we did not tell anything to the Waitrose staffs, because we believed if we see such that disorders, then the Waitrose staffs could see too, and when none of them take any action it means there is not any firm policy to stop disorders in this regard. Therefore we decided to say goodbye to Waitrose and go to Sainsbury main store close to us and leave Waitrose and its goods to the people that social health is not important to them.

I usually do shopping from this store and I am happy from the quality and the staffs, but I do not know why there are not guards close to the main entrance door to watch very strictly and not to let the customers arrive into the store with their animals. Unfortunately some inconsiderate customers bring their dogs sniffing the shelves and goods.I hope a very strict keen attention to be raised in all the stores very soon on this issue, because people will be healthy just by observing very simple but important points.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!! My wife and I visited this branch and we were stopped by a security guards (black with glasses), to inspect the bags in our trolley. My wife had just bought new underwear, before we decided to do a few more shopping at the Kings road branch of Waitrose. He waded with his hands through my wife?s underwear to check if we had hidden any shopping items. Of course there was nothing and he walked away like nothing happened without apologizing. I can?t believe Waitrose is employing animals like this in their branches. I?m considering to make a formal complaint. NEVER GO BACK !

This is my favourite local store and I always have a nice experience, especially thanks to Cathy, one of the sales assistants. She is always super helpful and friendly. Also, what makes it special is Cathy's personal touch to me and my daughters. Big thanks to Cathy and the team for making my grocery trips enjoyable!

Great shop. Friendly atmosphere. Well stocked. Good prices. Food is fresh. Fruit and vegetable sections are well stocked and fresh. Alexandra on self service is great , also Julie on the meat and fish counter is very helpful and friendly. Kathy is always welcoming. She?s so good on the deli counter. Store general manager is always on the shop floor and available to customers. He?s clearly not a manager that hides in his office. Very hands on and supportive to his staff. The staff are welcoming and pleasant. Highly recommend this store. It?s a very friendly shopping experience. Prices are extremely competitive. Fruit and veg is well displayed and stock rotation is in operation throughout the store. Prices absolutely slay Marks and Spencer as does service, quality and the welcome you get as a customer.waitrose Kings Road appreciates every single customer.

How is it possible for a professional supermarket to be so badly run. I went to the butcher counter to buy some beef. The two girls behind the counter were engrossed sharing videos on their phones, until I interrupted to ask a question. They had three different types of bone in rib joints on offer at different prices per kg. Neither "butcher" could tell me what the difference was between them but one was helpful enough to say that they were all beef! No apology was offered and no escalation.Meanwhile their section entitled Duck and Game consists entirely of Duck and no game. What does this excuse of a shop think it's doing?

Good time to pop in - Friday evening around 7pm - fairly empty of the usual throng of local Kings Road regulars and clumsy tourists. Easy to browse and lots of staff restocking shelves who know where everything is. Efficient self checkout monitored and managed efficiently by one young man. A pleasant experience.
