The morning shift female receptionists in this gym are the rudest and least helpful and least knowledgeable people I have ever seen!! With miserable expressions and an actual inability to greet members. The good thing is the gym gets better once you are past reception ;) Other staff are nice, especially the cleaners, and the staff on the gym floor try hard to maintain the spaces well. Top tip for the manager: ask the Chislehurst branch weekend receptionist - who is absolutely delightful - to train the Bromley reception staff!!!

Ayesha the Receptionist was very attentive and professional. I loved the fact that she was patient with me and offered me solutions. I recommend Nuffield Health in Bromley. Thank you for being kind Ayesha well done.

I joined with my wife and daughter because it?s close and has a pool. That?s the plus. The downside is the pool is almost always closed when I want to use it and although I have completed umpteen direct debits to the club, they only claim the money for my wife and daughter and then stop me entering the club every month! I have asked them time and again to deal with this but it means once a month I complete a new direct debit which they presumably lose. They did manage to take membership fees two months running from my account for a person with a similar name who lives at a different address! It took six months to get the money back! Appalling service. I?d go elsewhere if there was anywhere near with a pool!

I've been with this club for 2.5 years and it only gets worse. They close the main pool at least couple of times a week. 50% of the lockers are broken. There used to be free kids' access, they've ceased it. On top of that they increase prices yearly. Crowded, not the most friendly staff. If it wasn't 5 min walk from my house, I'd changed it long tome ago. If you have a choice do avoid this club.

I 'joined' 2 weeks ago after receiving an email informing me of a reduction on monthly fees (£65) I only want to use the pool, so far its been closed the 2 days i planned to go. I also found the receptionist ignorant and unhelpful towards me, really don't feel like going again, will make enquiries to cancel unsigned contract

They charge extremely expensive for a low range gym and a couple of not accessible classes. Jacuzzi has been closed for couple years now, and swimming pool hasn't worked for few weeks too. They promised it would be open last Friday, turned up there with there being a construction site. Absolute waste of money. People should be compensated for this month. Where is our money going? You don't go to a restaurant where they have nothing to offer and still leave you an expensive bill. Unless there's some changes or information out there for everyone as to how our money is spent and how you're improving your services; I'll be telling my family and all friends know to withdraw their memberships.

Pool Closed all the time. Getting really fed up with this place. I nearly exclusively use the pool only.In the last 6 months pools have been closed 23* times. I get the odd closure for maintenance. If I could give this place zero stars quite honestly I would. I would recommend NOT joining this gym with the way in which it is currently run and managed.If you only want a gym where you can use the gym equipment then you?ll likely be fine. However if you?d like to join a gym class you will be disappointed.Gym classes are disgracefully hard to get into for the amount of money you get charged per month and likely on a rolling booking system based on the rare occasions in the 12+ months that I have been lucky enough to get in where the same old faces are ALWAYS there particularly for classes such as Sh?bam and Body Jam.Many facilities have also been out of action/decommissioned during the entirety of my membership to date.This evening, I witnessed totally inappropriate, unprofessional and condescending management of the waiting list for a class which was totally disproportionate based on the amount of space still available in the room which was the final straw in terms of making me want to find an alternative provision for my fitness and wellbeing needs.This establishment clearly puts profit over people and I would urge everyone to NOT become a member of this gym.

-5 A real find... Lovely staff, clean facilities, great gym, large cool n warm pool... not over crowded.. no broken anything.. The only thing I would like to have known is the sauna is separate male/female but steam room unisex.. Cafe, nursery, massage & much more..

I wish I read the reviews here first before I joined. Luckily I?m on monthly rolling contract.I joined because of the yoga classes and their Personal Best Program.I can?t even book a yoga class even 2 weeks in advance. As for the Personal Best Program I?ve been trying to book this several times at the reception with no luck. Also, some of the gym equipments I want to use it?s always occupied as there?s only one available and the other equipment only 2 available. Waste of money!!Definitely will not recommend Nuffield Health Bromley.

Good facilities and along with the standards of hygiene within the gym. Much better than the Croydon Nuffield. The cleaner salif always keeps the men?s changing room in a top tier place in comparison to other gyms I?ve been to and is a really nice bloke!

Really poorly run and maintained.The Pool is closed at least once a week lately. The steam room some days is luke warm at best and some of the lights have been broken in there for months. Often there is no hot water for a shower. The Jacuzzi has been closed for nearly 2 years with no communication as to why. You no longer get towels like you used to. If something breaks here it can take anywhere from 1-6 months to be fixed... All of this whilst they keep putting the price up.In general the place is a shambles. The only saving grace is the gym equipment is fairly decent, but even that is too busy sometimes to get on any of it.I wouldn't recommend it

Disappointed. My daughter was looking forward to use the facilities at Nuffield and use her friends guest pass as an insight to the gym as she was thinking of joining. I had a face to face conversation to the lady at reception to check this was allowed and confirmed to me that no adults were needed to be there. However, when they walked into reception without an adult (which was fine when we spoke) they then got turned away and were let down. The lady behind reception claimed that they had to have an adult with them and even though friends of my daughter have done it before it still was a no. This is foul and dishonest behaviour coming from the gym. We then received further information that all an adult had to do was drop them off at the door and let them be on their own in the gym, which goes against the reason they couldn?t go in by themselves.

Sad downhill trend, poor maintenance and hygiene.On my visit this morning, the men?s toilets were taped off, the floor tiles were cracked, jacuzzi is a building site, kids pool was out of action, and faulty locker locks locked me out.In addition to this they are busy reminding us of parking restrictions. In a place that?s 15 min walk from Bromley high street.The facilities pool and gym are still functional but the place looks like it?s being run into the ground.

Hi guys , would like to talk about Nuffield health bromley, I?ve been a member there for several years with a brake during pandemic obviously, and then back 2022 , biggest reason why I?ve joined them was the spa facility, as I?ve suffer from joint pain, the spa /jacuzzi has been out of order for over a year and I was always chasing them with updates on when the spa would be repaired and I?ve been told by some staff members that they were waiting for a better quote or parts always excuses like that , guess what around 2 months ago we?ve received emails telling us that the spa/jacuzzi would not be repaired at all as it was too expensive to run it and they would just scrap it ? spoke to the manager Mr Jason and he said that the spa was never going to be repaired they had no plan to put it back on , so they?ve sold an membership advertising the spa as part of the package even though they had no intention to get it working, so for obviously reasons I was mad about it and told Mr Jason that I wanted to cancel my membership straight away , he asked me to send an email and that I had to give a months notice or wait to the end of my contract , is it fare ? When I clearly like every other Nuffield Bromley member got lied about it ? For over a year waiting for the spa to fixed ? I?ve sent the email requested and guess what he completely ignored my obvious point and said that he couldn?t cancel my membership straight away due to nothing was broken or non functional for over a month so I had no right to cancel it ?he is right , not a month but over a year , not only the spa , the ceiling in not good condition with obvious lack of maintenance on the changing rooms , sofas and seats on the restaurant area ripped or cracked , toilets , steam room door wouldn?t lock properly for over a month on a clearly easy to fix issue just not looking after , there is always something looks like they really don?t care and forget how much we pay for a membership, but the cherry on top was the lack of costumer service skills from Jason who not only been sarcastic with his answers and ignoring my obvious right to cancel my contract but also ignoring my many requests for an contact number for Nuffield?s regional manager , so he didn?t cancel my contact and is forcing me to wait till the end of my contract , just want to share this with you guys , I?ve heard from several members same complaints that I?ve made but most of them do t speak out but I had enough and will tell everyone I can about this disgusting situation.Avoid Nuffield Bromley and report what is happening there so who knows they may actually do something about it and show us some respect
