We was at the laundry on Sunday for a family birthday celebration, food was amazing the whole atmosphere was great and we had a amazing waitress Delaney who couldn?t do enough for us. We were a large crowd and nothing was any trouble that we asked her for. Roast dinners were very consistent every plate looked as good as the last and the truffle cauliflower on the side was delicious. Thank you for making our special occasion special.

If you are planning on visiting the Laundry? Don?t. The food is overpriced and underwhelming. I had to send my food back, I ordered beef medium well and received medium rare. The waitress then tried to convince me it was medium well even though it was clearly medium rare, the beef had more fat on it than actual meat. The Yorkshire pudding was burnt, the roast potatoes were soggy, the vegetables were cold and our cauliflower cheese was waterlogged and bland. And don?t even get me started on the portion sizes! I would not recommend at all. And just to add insult to injury, the management allowed a family bring not one but two dogs (they were not guide dogs) into the RESTAURANT where we were eating! It was absolutely awful. This all happened on Mother?s Day me and my sister just wanted to give my mum a good Mother?s Day and this nearly ruined it. This place is not worth the hype or price. Cannot believe this is what Brixton has become.

As a few other reviews have said - unfortunatly the price does not match what you get.£21 for a very small Bavette steak and a handful of chips. It's more like a small plate than a main. Felt a bit robbed.Nice place and friendly staff - but sadly not delivering at the moment.

Food was good, price was little steep. The outside heaters weren?t working and we were not told this when we made our booking. It was so so cold despite being given blankets.Staff were super helpful and friendly but I wouldn?t have gone there if I knew about the heaters

My friend and I had a lovely dinner. The atmosphere was intimate and discreet. It was not too loud. The service was amazing. Our waiters and the chef were so friendly, attentive and welcoming. But most importantly, the food was delicious as were the cocktails and very well presented. I will be back soon and spread the word.

Extremely overpriced bland Sunday roast. Served with unlimited veg and gravy but getting unlimited helpings was not worth it when considering how poor the quality of the food was. Gravy was basically just warm red wine with a bit of thyme in it. I ordered the beef and there was two thin small slices only and the cauliflower cheese is £10 which is insane of 7 florets with a bland sauce.Service from the waitresses was really nice but the man who we payed with at the front was blatantly offensive.

We were looked after from start to finish. All the staff were super friendly and helped us choose from the menu as it all looked so good. The food lived up to the hype. Paired with some delicious wine. Top draw hospitality.

Nice food and atmosphere but 4 stars because they add a (non, really) discretionary 13.5% automatically on top of what are already quite high prices for what you get. I get auto tips are now standard but 13.5 feels unnecessarily cheeky as above the standard 12.5% everywhere else in london provides and unfortunately left a bad taste

I arrived with my Grandmother to our booking a few minutes before 4pm.The maitre d greeted us and then disappeared for about 5 minutes. We were sat outside the heating isn't really adequate for a February day but had nice blankets. The food looked good and we ordered the chicken and some drinks. Most of the staff we dealt with were friendly and polite. Our drinks came and small platers for the prawn starter. A long time passed I estimated 30 minutes but as the maitre d furiously told me it was only 25 minutes!I asked how much longer the maitre d snarled at me it took time to cook a roast chicken. The level of aggression and hostility was unlike anything I've ever experienced. I understand it takes time but it's a very limited memu (3 roasts) and know the booking numbers maybe do some preparation??I'm being asked to pay the guts of £100 pounds for 2 roast chicken dinners one prawn starter and two drinks sitting outside cold and when I ask about the amount of time till our food arrives you snarl at me?My grandmother suggested leaving and we did. I offered to pay for the drinks they waved that charge.I very rarely give bad reviews but this was out of line. If you can't handle basic customer queries maybe get a new job.

Nice food and a lively atmosphere. They were very busy, clearly a popular place to go on a Saturday lunchtime. The cocktails were good, especially the cucumber margarita. Our waitress Annette was lovely and sang happy birthday to my partner which was fun. The drinks service was quite slow (my wine didn't come until after I'd finished my meal) but that clearly wasn't Annette's fault: the staff at the bar were clearly overwhelmed and had a significant backlog.
