I ordered a cake for collection for my Mrs birthday day, when I went to collect, I asked them if the cake isn't the one that was on display the day before as I didn't see it on the display unit anymore. They assured that it is not!. However, when tatsted it later on the day, the cake was absolutely dry and not fresh at all which means they just gave me the display one!, a total scum!. I found this misleading, dishonest and unprofessional. This is a brand that should really care about customers satisfaction and retention. I am so disappointed and shocked of the disgusting service I have received. I would suggest anyone reading my review to consider this whenever they're thinking of placing a cake order in the future. Totally not recommending this shop to anyone.

I have visited the Cafe at Brent Cross at around 17:40 and aware that the cafe might be closing: asked if they were open. A blond girl ( I heard her speaking albanian on my previous visits) She rudely said: WHAT??? - I said, that you cannot talk like this to customers if you get asked: you ask politely: Excuse me? or something like that, not WHATT?? - I asked her to provide her name and she refused. She turned away to face a coffee machine and started making faces ( I saw in mirrowed reflection on the coffee machine) I think this behaviour is unacceptable.. After I left, 2 ladies chased me and said thank you for telling her off as she was rude to them too?.

Would give it a zero if I could. Waitress stand was rude. Bartender was rude. Come here if you want attitude , Worst customer service, Sleepy service.

Had an afternoon tea in Patisserie Valerie Brent Cross - fresh sandwiches, warm scones, excellent service from friendly staff. Very accommodating to different dietary requirements. Very happy with the experience.

Absolutely lovely place had cream cake with my family , coffee was lovely too the only thing was their was lipstick on our cups , took them back to the lady behind the till, as she apologised , saying the dishwasher didn't clean them properly, cutlery was also grubby ,untensils just need abit more cleaning, other than this issue it was lovely,

Dear Mr Horn & Mr Bowman Sorry if you may have received this email previously, it bounced back to I sent it again more than once. I am writing regarding an atrocious experience I was put through by a senior store manager of yours in the Brent Cross branch of Fenwick on 08/10/23. Your manager treated me so badly and in front of our staff and customers, she embarrassed me, she was rude, unhelpful, spoke to me like I was so in the wrong, she lied about me removing the labels had invalidated my rights, I explained that I was a frequent shopper in Fenwick, but that made no difference to her. I was left feeling frustrated and enraged at being treated so appallingly. Its regarding a Polo short sleeved shirt that I had purchased on 20/08/23. The shirt was fine, I tried it on, and the size was good with room for growth around the waist if needed, so I then as per normal carefully cut out the several wash advice labels from inside the shirt and also the small label that states the size by the collar as I also do. I attended a wedding and wore the shirt, which was fine, I then on returned from my trip washed the shirt in a cool wash and lightly tumbled dried on delicates the shirt as always. To my horror when it was be ironed, I realised that it had shrunk and lost its lustre. I said to my opartner it has become faulty and shrunk. She agreed to return the shirt to Fenwick with the receipt. On attempt to have the shirt exchanged, the assistant called a manager as the labels had been cut out. The manager said to my partner that as the labels had been cut out, we had lost our rights to have an exchange or refund. My partner being quite shy and timid accpeted this and purchased me yet another shirt from Fenwick at the same time. My partner returned home with the faulty shirt and the newly purchased shirt too. She explained that she had tried to exchange the shirt, but a manager was called and that she was quite rude, unhelpful and abrupt with her. I was annoyed and said I would return it myself when I next had time. So, today I found time to visit Fenwick myself, and as before as the labels had been removed, I asked for a manager and the same manager came to attend to me. I explained what had happened to the shirt in the wash, and she agreed that the shirt was faulty, but she said that as I hade cut the labels out I could not return the shirt I said but the wash labels are meant to be cut out along the dotted line and that I alays but of the size label. I asked where it says labels should not be cut out, she said its on the receipts, but its not! we went back and forth, and I got annoyed, as she was making her own policies up. I asked for senior managers details. she refused to give these to me, I askedd for her name and again she refused to gibe her name, I explained that I wanted to complain about her so I needed to know her name, she again refused to give her details. She eventually gave me Fenwick customer services number 08007831783, I called, and they to the same manager. I explained that I was actually complain about that manager, so I wanted to speak to another manager senior to her. They said there was nobody else and she was the most senior manager and her decision was final. I then went to Brent cross customer services, and they called (Chris) who was in charge of store security and the only senior manager instore that day, I explained everything, and he repeatedly gave his deepest apologies me your details. Please help to resolve this issue and please mystery shop the manager as she is not good for your business at all.

Went for an afternoon tea on a voucher. The staff were great and let us swap fruit Scones for more plain ones.

Horrible stuff honestly, you ask for something nicely and they don?t know how to answer to you. I asked for a fork and she indicates it with the finger without even looking at me. NO MANNERS! Cake was also dry.

Every time I have the opportunity to go to Brent Cross I visit the Valerie patisserie for the best croissants and the best cappuccino made by the girl with the curly hair I think her name is Andreea. And I will return every time with pleasure.
