The worst pharmacy in London, your doctor has to call to make sure that you will receive your prescription, and they will still upon your arrival say that they don't have it and its not on their system.

The closing time says 4:30 but they close earlier then that. They all remain inside when it?s supposed to be closed. Last time I came here they sent me to another pharmacy when my medication on the system shows it should be at Columbia pharmacy. When I came back they magically had the medicine that I initially came for. They made me walk 15 mins to another pharmacy when I was in so much pain when they had the medicine to begin with. The customer service is poor. Do not select this pharmacy. I would give it zero stars if there was an option. Calling my gp first thing tomorrow morning to change my selected pharmacy.

I recently had a series of poor experiences at Columbia Pharmacy that pushed me to share this review, although I must admit my hesitation in doing so, as I assume it's a small business (to my knowledge). However, the persistently poor customer service I've encountered needs to be put forth for others to know.A recurring issue is the staff's tendency to audibly disclose my medication, while there are other customers present in the pharmacy. In addition to this, handing me my prescription without providing a bag on several occasions. While these may appear to be minor concerns to some, they represent a blatant breach of customer confidentiality and are incredibly discourteous. What if I were to consider my medical information sensitive? It is common practice for pharmacists to offer a bag for medication, and their failure to do so reflects a lack of care and consideration. On several occasions, my wife has picked up my medication and a few times for herself, and almost each time she entered the pharmacy, she was met with staff engrossed in their own conversations, completely oblivious to her presence until she stood at the counter for 5 minutes or so. Usually, when I go in, one of the taller guys who has medium/long hair that is on the till is consistently preoccupied in conversation with the pharmacist, particularly about football. There is a time and place for everything. As well as the fact that I had mentioned these to the staff.Another incident that left me aggravated occurred when I called the pharmacy inquiring the availability of a specific prescription. I distinctly recognised the voice of the short darker-skinned lady who spoke, given my frequent visits to the pharmacy. She insisted on gathering my personal details, despite my repeated clarification that my sole intention was to determine the stock status. To which I complied with. She proceeded to inform me that they hadn't received my prescription, to which I responded, "I'm aware, the doctor just sent it." I reiterated my request to check the stock of my prescription, clearly articulating its name. However, she veered off, delving into my previous prescriptions. She stated that I had picked up the medication a few weeks ago. At this point, I bluntly told her, "Stop. You're not listening to me. This is the third time I'm explaining. I want to know whether you have the medication in stock," which I spelt out for her. She mangled the spelling, so I had to spell it phonetically. After an arduous 20-30 minute conversation, she confirmed that the medication was in stock. On my most recent visit to the pharmacy, the same short darker-skinned lady opened the shop and asked for my details. She told me that I couldn't receive it at the time as the pharmacist was not present. I asked if she could find out when the pharmacist would arrive, to which she replied that she had no information and had not yet spoken with the pharmacist. Dumbfounded, I left from the pharmacy.Where, an hour later I called them up before returning to ensure their pharmacist was present. After confirming the pharmacist was present, I went back and paid for the medication which I just checked briefly and saw it was open with no reasoning from the staff member. She proceeded to say it is due to my prescription being of lesser quantity and that the pharmacist needed to reduce the amount present. This isn?t a problem, but if I hadn?t checked the medication in the pharmacy and checked later instead, I would have been irritated assuming the pharmacy had dispensed me an opened/used medication. At this point, I had enough, and I left the pharmacy with no intention of returning. It is truly disheartening because, despite being a small business, the quality of basic etiquette and standard customer service is deeply lacking and non-existent. I am now inclined to other pharmacies in the area.

After burning my arm on a sauna chimney, the medic was surprised to see it doing so well "Ever cooked steak" "No" I replied. "Well its as if you've seared it, cooked on the outside not on the in. After this dramatic revelation, a friend recommended fresh aloe vera, then a health food professional shop some oil. The burns recovery was in good shape & being helped by many towards a speedy recovery. But then as I traipsed through a shifting Sunday Columbia road off the back of a sleepless night, my medically inclined brother suggested I get it wrapped up. To prevent any of Londons toxic dust, peoples sneezes or harsh stares infecting it. So turn up did we to the right place. It was busy to begin, with members of staff dealing with numerous niggles, afflictions & lurgies until it was the turn of the burn. I shared in detail the process of the prognosis up until now and with some more detailed back and forth, collecting of this that and the other I was directed into a cosy little treatment room to the side of the counter. As the layers of antiseptic, jelonet & tape were applied I felt in safe hands, looked after above the call of duty for it was their responsibility and wasn't out of financial reward that the care was taken to make sure I left feeling secure that infection wouldn't strike. I would like to extend my warmest of thanks & gratitude towards Hafsa who through kindness & attention restored my faith in humanity.

Well, it's a pharmacy. Walked in, asked for aspirin, got it and walked out.

I had my fourth covid vaccine here 2 weeks ago.i was very nervous. All the staff are nice and friendly. The very young pharmacist was kind and helpful. They let me sit in the chemist for as long as I wanted to calm down. I had my vaccine and they answered my many questions. This is a very friendly nice helpful chemist. Thank u

Good customer service. Small pharmacy considering how busy it was today. Overall nice and friendly place.

AVOIDThis is the worst pharmacy ever. I have had 2 experiences and both were horrible. First I had my booster booked 2 weeks in advance and when I arrived on the day there was no vaccine (and no one contacted me beforehand)I also came for a medicine and no one was able to help me. They didn?t seem to know anything about medication. This is a shame in a nice street like that to get that poor service.

This has been the most friendly, empathetic pharmacy that truly serves the local community. As an immigrant, it is so hard to find staff that actually put the patient needs first. For migrants who are non-EU it?s hard to setup a bank account without an authority verifying identity. My GP wouldn?t do it since I wasn?t a patient registered for over 3 years. Other pharmacies like Boots wouldn?t give me the time of day. But the staff at this pharmacy really cares and understood the struggle of having to advocate for oneself in this broken system. Appreciate them so much!
