We was here on 11.11.2023Very good food and service, but very very unfriendly manager (administrator) blond girl. She is absolutely not customer oriented and not able to make her job well.Owner of restaurant have to change her, otherwise many customers will not visit this place again. Also she is pushing all waiters and they get nervous?.I can recommend this place, but be ready to get angry because of manager if you will contact her ?

Late opening restaurant next to the river. I was disappointed by the small portion size of onion rings but they did taste decent. The brownie was delicious and a perfect end to a day out in London Town.

Terrible food. Korean chicken was cold and for £14 there was barely any chicken! Waffle was soft and soggy, and the plate was mostly raw veggies that were really flavourless. Did not taste fresh at all. The service on the other hand was excellent, the lady who served us was very helpful and friendly. Shame about the food.

Myself and my friend came across Giraffe, Southbank Centre, on our recent weekend to London. Although it was a very busy Saturday afternoon, 09/11/23, we were greeted, on the desk outside, with a smile, by a lovely young lady. She offered us a table inside or out and we chose to sit outside. The menus were brought to us promptly and the drinks order was taken. Our waiter, Naresh, was friendly and approachable and nothing was too much trouble. He took the time to answer questions on some of the dishes and cocktails. The food was delicious. The portions are enough for a snack at lunch time and this is reflected in the low prices, especially given their prime location. The restaurant was pleasant and clean and tables were immediately cleared and cleaned when guests had vacated, even though it was an extremely busy Saturday in 32 degree heat ! We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the location so much that we returned for lunch the following day. Again, we couldn't fault it. Thank you to all of the staff for looking after us and making our visits there an enjoyable experience. We will definitely be returning to Giraffe on our next visit to London. Special thanks to Naresh for your fabulous service and for introducing us to Aperol Spritz, our new favourite drink !

Stopped in here for a quick drink - we had a coffee and a milkshake. We weren't too keen on either of the drinks but the place had a great atmosphere and the staff were friendly. The outdoor seating is really great in the summer!Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance to the restaurant is quite expansive, plenty of outdoor seating too.

Nachos starters awful, children's meal tasteless, beef tacos terrible. Fish and chips tasted nice but the fish was overcooked. Very sad experience food wise. However our last waitress to take our plates before payment was honestly amazing and a credit to the restaurant. Her name is Charlie (5?), she listened, was very understanding, very kind to change things on our bill and was generally a lovely person. I wouldn't return to this restaurant purely based on the food.

These guys get a solid two stars for the great service because the food was TERRIBLE. Barely edible noodles that tasted like it had come out of a can, and grilled chicken that looked great but had clearly not been seasoned at all, I mean not even with salt. This was such a disappointment.

I came here with my husband and young toddler. My chicken Caesar salad tasted forgettable and even had a bone fragment in the chicken (lucky I had given my husband that piece, not my toddler!). My husband said the duck stir fry was mid. Toddler?s meatballs were super dry and flavorless, she ate nothing but a few peas. However, the server was nice and apologetic about the bee harassing us. Best of all, the restaurant gave a free pack of 4 crayons that toddler loved and ended up helping keep her happy on the flight back home. Giraffe really is child-friendly. Just don?t share your own food with young kids without checking there are no bones.

Went to girrafe this afternoon for lunch. We thought it would be a nice idea as we hadn?t been scince pre covid and we went to one location recently(post covid) and had a lovely experience there so decided to go to this one.We had a fantastic experience,it has the most beautiful view and backdrop of the Thames. Also it was such a spacious inside as well,it was huge it reminded me of being in planet Hollywood a little bit especially with the size and portion sizes. Also it was very busy as well but it was so huge that there were always tables. If it was something like Frankie and Benny?s for example it would have filled maybe 4(Ashford sized) branches the amount of people there. Also the starters were so Appealing and at such good Value that we only decided to have a starter.Wow!!!!!!!!!It was the starter I will remember for my life.I?ve never had such a good portion size for a starter before. The portions were mind blowing, you got a lot of nachos and you also got a lot of the dips and other foods on it.Adding the pork was great as well. You get plenty of that. The food was delicious(but pricey!).Also the decor is lovely inside as well, very clean. Also service was quick and staff were friendly.I would recommend you sit in the outside,it was a very pleasant experience. You occasionally got the thrill of water splashing over a little from the really powerful water jets.

Not visited giraffe for many years, maybe not since Tesco owned them. Pleasantly surprised and an enjoyable experience. One of our sons ordered a meal that had a sauce on arrival he didn?t like. Our fault. Asked for another, without the sauce and was happy to pay. They provided the replacement for free. Very nice and thank you! Would have given five stars, but for five of us, our table was quite cramped.

Have always visited here when we come to London for the day. Just wanted a quick coffee today at 10am. Wasn?t allowed to sit at a table for 4 outside as there were only 2 of us so shown a table under cover, which was dark. There were literally dozens of empty tables and I explained we?d only be half an hour but she was adamant that it was ?set for 4!? Very petty and lost yourself a customer, went elsewhere.

Excellent customer service, decor and delicious variety of food. We went for breakfast and it was so so good! They were happy to provide anything I asked for. Would definitely go there again... for the cocktails next time! YUM!

The south bank is always very busy so don't stop here if you want fast service. The staff are very good but they are run off their feet, there are a lot of tables. Its a great spot though right on the river and great for people watching. We had cocktails and both had the swinging chicken skewers which great salad. Good size portions and really tasty. We were going to have a dessert but we had no room left. The staff were friendly and did a great good. Don't be put off my the comments on slow service, its definitely worth stopping here.

Lovely food, there were 12 of us & food all came at the same time, staff very friendly & accomodating to slight menu adjustments, only down side was 2 of the 4 ladies toilets were blocked..Perhaps a little more attention required..
