Visited store to request if we could pay to have some wood cut. Was told only wood bought in store could be cut!! So we took our business across the road to Selco who were more than happy to cut the wood and for free. Selco staff were more professional as well. So we proceeded to purchase a lot of items from Selco instead of B&Q. Won't ever return to B&Q.

We waited ages for a member of staff to become available and then asked them to show us the range of bushes. They took us to the decking section and then seemed confused about what a bush is. When we said shrub we just got a shrug so we gave up and went to find the sorry selection ourselves. We realised our mistake and went to The Nunhead Gardener instead where they have an extensive selection and outstanding customer service

Nowhere else to go I'm afraid if you need some DIY items as some small shops are quite limited. A bit of a trek to get to as it is only accessible by buses or cars. Customer service a bit rough on the edges. It's like a lottery. Some are helpful, some are rude and can't be bothered.

Idk what to say, management is rubbish to be simple, there?s no one to ask, we asking each others (customers) if u saw that while searching around. Later when going to the till to pay , we saw the workers some hiding, the girls are showing each others the makeup, the boys ( one got items for restocking and 3 walking next to him chatting. I was looking for a microwave, and I found one of the workers to ask he told me we don?t have, go ask in Asda, but my colleague found it somehow and we went to that lad again to tell him, he said I didn?t know that you looking for a integrated . !!!!!!!!!!!!! What kind of customer service is this, and what they getting paid for? Is there?s a manger even? They bringing too much of personal life into there instead of doing the simple tasks

Attended on 20th January at 13.55 and saw the timber cutter was put of order until 15.30. Whilst browsing I noticed a worktop was being loaded onto cut for another customer. I approached the now 3 people at the timber cutter and asked/stated that I was going to buy something to be cut but saw it was closed. The response I got was that the guy had just taken someone from another department to cut the timber for this one customer. I queried this. But no, apparently it was only opening for this one specific customer. I videoed this and then told the gentleman who chose to serve one customer but jot another that I would post it on twitter. He changed his mind then, but the service level was irrepareable from this point.

When I usually come to this store, the customer service disgust me but this time around was totally different. I was worried as I attended cause I needed laminate flooring but I had my buggy so I wasn?t sure of what to do cause I was pushing my buggy aswell. When I arrived in the laminate flooring section. Luckily a worker named Wonda approached me and asked me if I needed any help, he took his time to provide me with enough information about the flooring? he even helped me take the laminate flooring to my car. I?m really grateful for his great support and I hope they upgrade him to a managing position cause other than that I don?t know what the managers are doing there apart from allowing atrocious customer service from their colleagues.

I'm sure there are some helpful and friendly staff working there. I'm yet to be served or helped by one. They seem friendly enough when you see them chatting with their work colleagues. But their attitude fast changes when speaking, or should I say NOT speaking to customers. Rude, uncaring and lazy!

Worst b&q ever. Each and every member of staff have the worst attitude problems. Not helpful in any way. Rude at the tills, most of the time don?t speak a word to you through the whole transaction. Unfortunately with it being the closest one to me I resentfully spend a lot of money there. Some customer service training wouldn?t go a miss, or just some new staff all together.

I called in advance as I needed to have wood cut on the timber saw. Was told that the saw was open until 5pm. Drove to the store and the saw is ?closed for lunch? for an hour. An hour spent waiting around for nothing, could easily have been working on something else. Why not have published times for the saw to be working?!

I visited the store today, having previously experienced very bad customer service, but I was lucky to run into a few lovely and helpful people. I want to thank Charmaine and Ray, who made this experience a lot more pleasant ?. God bless you guys.
