Not good, purchased a tyre online and booked a appointment for 3 days later.Went to my appointment only to be told they didn't have the tyre but could order it for the day after i was then given a new appointment.I went back to the shop at my new appointment time and was told they can't do it today because the technician said it's getting late and refused to change my tyre even though I had a appointment.

I booked a repair on February 16th . When I turned up at Halfords they said 'there was no booking' They didn't apologise for the mistake so I left. Today 22nd of February, I received a text to say my car was booked in for the 23rd. I had to phone and cancel a booking I hadn't made . It was a mistake again on their part. I will not use Halfords again.

Would definitely recommend!Was initially really disappointed with the service from Halfords, I initially had it booked in with the Rushey Green branch who called me an hour before my MOT (it ran out the next day) to state that they were unable to do my MOT as someone had called in sick.However I rebooked as I was desperate for an MOT and this was the next available one. I drive a BMW and usually take it straight to BMW however left it last minute and one with them wasn?t available.Anyway, I took it to this branch and staff were extremely friendly and done a brilliant job. Completed it within an hour and called me to inform me that it was done and I could pick the car up, stated that I did not have to pick it up straight away but obviously recommended I picked it up before they closed for the day.The car was in the exact condition I left it, they did not drive it around for the day as their own and did not tinker with anything to make me spend more money. (These are all concerns people have when taking their car to a new garage).Would definitely recommend this branch and really happy with my MOT and the service provided by the staff.

Please be on hold for 1 second? how long is 1 second. Waited for 30 minutes.. called back again? same pls hold for a second and 30 minutes on hold?.. what is meant by 1 second? I don?t speak to my girlfriend also for so long what are they talking?

I went there to get tyres and wheel alignment done. It seems that the alignment machine was broken and I should have received a call. I had not. The website suggests 30 mins for tyre change. I was advised that it would be 60-90 minutes. I went back after 90 minutes and they said that they were going to do it soon. Eventually, the car was available to pick up after 120 mins. They work on booked, timed appointments and, clearly, they weren?t aligning wheels. Not sure of any reason for delays other than inefficiency and poor management.You only get one chance to make a first impression and Halfords Autocentre Catford failed.

Useless. Left the car with them for an hour and they pretended to do some checks to diagnose a problem. Tried to charge £100 for speculating it was a transmission problem.Brought car to a real garage and diagnosed the problem with catalytic converter in 5 minutes. These are not mechanics at all Halfords are hiring.

I did full servicing on my car on the 8th of September 2023 and I was charged £309.99 which I paid in full. Come December 27th 2023 my car was due for MOT because I have just done total knee replacement operation I couldn't drive so I asked a friend to take my car to halfords which is just around my house in Bromley Road. I was given 3pm appointment or so before that day i was given an appointment to bring in the car omly for them to call me on the day before that i was meant to attend my appointment and told this was they day i was given and i have arranged with a friend to drop it off for me and the guy speaking to me on the phone said he wants to know because so many people had similar issue with their books and i said i don't know the name anywsys on getting there my car was checked and it failed the MOT to my greatest surprise because my car has never failed MOT because I always service before taking it that was why I did the servicing in September so how come within 3 month the car has suddenly developed a fault. Because it was taking by my friend there I asked her to allow me speak to them over the phone when I queried them I was told it was the brake pad I then asked them why was I not told the time I service the car the rude man I spoke with on the phone told me over the phone in present of my friend that I should have checked my receipt and my friend then said as a woman we just bring cars to service trusting the machine. I them requested that they send me copy of the receipt through my friend and they refused that they will not because I want to see if they really wrote the problem found in the car in the receipt. Th person i speaking on the phone now turned back and said he is not giving me or my friend any details because he doesn't know us and he is not sure if we even stole the car my friend now told him when I brought the car for MOT you didn't ask if the was was stolen now because we are asking for reciep you are tell us youyou don't know if we stole the car how rude.Even if we stole the car that is the job of the police and not halford. My friend now said so when can they fix the brake problem they now said they cant until 2024 i now called a different halford centre to and the quote for full servicing was even cheaper than the one i paid for the same halford but a different branch i did that because I want to know what i paid £309.99 for.I was so angry that I have to take my car to a different mechanic workshop where I paid another £190 to change the brake pads and workmanship.I have vowed never to take my car to halfords again and I will always tell people of my experience with halford. I have always service my car with them because they are 3 minutes walk from m e I was so surprise that they could do a thing like that to customers telling us they don't know if we stole the car how.rudecan you be to your customers. I have not been able to go and see them because I still can't walk around yet but will definitely go there to make my complaint in person.

Don?t come here for a Tesla MOT, only 1 person knows how to do it and on a rebooked appointment they didn?t have the jack pads to lift the car. Leaving me to find another appointment elsewhere at short notice!

The unprofessional receptionist cancelled my online appointment twice even when I was there waiting for over 1 hour and being the first to arrive. The crook might not be interested to do a fast and cheap oil and filter change only?These dodgy people are probably more interested in services to find problems you don?t have in your car and earn more money scamming customers, like reported here in several reviews. Take care!

Had a really great experience here today. Booked my car MOT & Service online as my experience with Mercedes last year was horrid and put me off. I?m glad I did. As a woman, it can be stressful sorting car stuff on your own. They put me at ease, keep me up to date and by 6pm I was back in my car - all sorted. Thanks!

Got a new battery installed here followed by an MOT. They forgot to clamp the battery in place. The car broke down a few days ago as the terminals had come loose due to the battery bouncing around. Could have been very dangerous if the loose terminal came in contact with any metal. The fact they didn't spot it on the MOT immediately after fitting the battery is also quite worrying. Getting very little response from customer services about fixing the issue. Unbelievable incompetence all round. AVOID.

Completely waste of time.I booked an appointment for wheel alignment through the online platform. I arrived on time and stopped outside the garage entrance only to be told off very rudly by one of the mechanics.I went to the reception to ask for my appointment and the very kind staff explained to me that they don't do wheel alignment in their store and the only available store is in Croydon.Absolutely waste of time not to mention the very rude mechanic.Definitely not recommended.
