Asked the member of staff manning the self checkouts if she could remove a security tag and she muttered that "people are annoying me today" and walked off. Have so many similar experiences in this Asda, the staff are miserable and hate their jobs. Pretty sure I saw someone abandon their self checkout today because they weren't being helped, so they just went to another shop!Annoyed at myself for going back to this Asda but there aren't any other big shops.

click and collect doesn't work very well, but other than that, it's a good place for shopping.

Amazing every time always fully stocked and if anything is not there a member of staff is always on hand to help. Always fast self checkout! Very helpful staff

Although we love shopping here but there?re just too many homeless people around, especially more agressive homeless people in the car park, make the shopping experience not as good.

Good, well stocked store has all your shopping needs and has a small clothing and homewears section upstairs, but they really need to sort their toilets out they are disgusting and this has been an ongoing issue for years and being next to the restaurant its not good

Love the choice of foods, lots of varieties, fresh and reasonably priced, they also deliver. Upstairs they have a clothing department, housewares, electrical, anything from mobiles, cables to televisions. Unfortunately the toilets are a letdown, broken locks, toilets with no seats, no toilet paper and not cleaned regularly. Sometimes 3 out of 5 toilets are rotten and they smell. They need a cleaner to check them often and sort out repairs when needed. I've seen women and children walk in and straight out because of the condition ? now for the staff ? some will go out of their way for you, some really nice people. One till checkout lady mandy is lovely & friendly and really helpful, and some, need to put a smile on their face ?

I met Maria and Debbie store supervisors today at Clapham junction. Words cannot explain how unprofessional they were that two young children of about 5yrs walked up to me to say they are sorry the Asda supervisor were very rude and mean to me. This little girls told me, they think it is racism and I felt so ashamed of how the older generation model the younger generation. Thank God there is a great awakening amongst the next generation. That attitude of I don?t care if Asda loose or gainOne of the staff Darcia? Was very professional came across like she really loves her job. Until these two supervisors shut her up?. That to me is everything. I know we have a choice to walk away from Asda completely with the birth of online market, who wants to go in the store for an assistant to be rude to you for spending your hard earned money in their store anyway.

Dear Asda you have a problem.Firstly the 5000 beggars outside, in the cold and rain, moody and vexed as they would be, so can't you give them a coffee or doughnut nuh? They get vex or sad when we don't have change, yet asda is full of spare food or food that gets thrown out and no one has used that costa coffee machine since 2001. Also I really don't appreciate the rude black girls who work here, very unfriendly and forever giving dirty looks even when I smile at them, heaven forbid I ask them for help. I, as a fellow black person do not deserve poor treatment from my own people. There are polite workers, the friendly older blonde lady at self service, the black guy who works on the chilled section and his white colleague, the older white men workers and the Indian South asian men. But they're not always there and the disrespectful black girls are and I am tired of them kissing their teeth at me or staring at me screw faced. There is also a pound shop khal drogo who pulls the food crates and he is deeply unfriendly and unresponsive when you ask where such and such item is. Screw you asda. Screw you awful workers. And screw the fake Google response which is clearly a robot.

Big place and a lot to choose from. Wish they had prices on everything including the Christmas pillows.A particular incident I can't stop thinking about: I was trying out a coat and I was looking at the mirror until a member of staff came along and said 'You can't try out clothes. Put it back.' There was no excuse me or please. She humiliated me in front of other customers as they were staring due to her speaking for everyone to hear. This was in December 2023 so no covid restrictions. I understand that maybe you still can't try things but it was a coat. Simple to put on and take off. She wanted me to put it back? Aren't I supposed to want to buy it?I was shopping with my mother and I told her what she said. My mother went to try out the same coat in front of her (she's petty like that) and she didn't say anything to her. I don't know if she was having a bad day or if she despises younger people. Either way that was not pleasant and I hope that won't happen again to anyone else.

It has three different ways to pay so it can be a lot quicker to get in and out.

Got a basket full today but then found the self check-out queue very long. I should have looked before even starting. I left my basket behind after 10 mins queueing bc I realised then the wait would be 30 minutes. ASDA - close the entrance if it gets this busy. Don't pretend like this please, you're wasting everybody's time.

I am just wondering if i am going to see Asda get ready on time just once in my life!Every time i go there at 6:30am the store is full of the pallets, half empty shelves , clerks are still sweeping the floor, the trolley are scattered around the car park, grumpy workers etc and they meant to be open at 6am!If you go just further down to Lidl youll notice a massive difference!!

The most shocking customer service I have ever received. Waited for a click and collect order for over two hours and was told by a member of staff that "they had other customers to deal with". Why allow your customers to book a collection slot to just not fulfil it? Was then promised a full refund by the manager and ten days later there is no sign of it.
