I went to buy Helldivers 2 that I reserved after going to another that didn't have in stock but reserved for me in this one. When I got there witch was a bit of a distance to get to the store they tell me they need id for the game, this makes sense since it's an 18+ game I show them my id and they tell me I need to be 25 for the game which is a very dumb policy i ask if there's anything I can do to get the game but they tell me I can't have it and one of the girls behind the counter told me to wait till I'm old enough can condescending and giggle. This will be the last time I ever do any business with Argos.

I am absolutely appalled by the competency and attitude of the staff here. I wanted to return a piece of hardware and called and checked it was ok to return before going to the store. Got the go ahead from an agent on the phone. There is one girl in particular with long, wavy brown hair. She does not want to deal with customers at all. I took in an item that was opened, but in unused condition and she point blank refused to even look at it.It?s not software so the staff at Angel should have looked at it! She the turned around and said that I have an attitude when I politely made my inquiry. How can they get away with talking to customers like that?I called their customer service line several times and they all had inconsistent answers. When I called earlier they said it was ok to return. So they are clueless and just follow what the store says.They are regulated by the FCA, I expressed dissatisfaction on a recorded line and was told I would get a response to my complaint in 48 hours and I have yet to receive a response.I asked them to listen to the call where the agent said I could bring it back, but she denied that call log existed. This is really dodgy and void of all integrity.I will not use Argos anymore because of this experience. And talking to their outsourced phone agents has made me lose all trust in this brand.There are plenty of other shops who appreciate their customers.

You go into the store to buy something in the store. The computers in the store to check stock in the store have no way to filter for whats in stock in that store. what a total waste of time. just close it and have a website?

Store clerks were too busy messing with each other to help a customer and had to ask if they?d finally help me when standing right in front of them instead of yelling at their friend.

I went to collect an order. While queuing I saw an assistant called Shaz who was helping an elderly gentleman who was buying a radio. He was so patient and even though the man asked him several times how to switch the radio on and off Shaz just showed him . Shaz even gestured to me that he was sorry for keeping me waiting but I didn't mind at all when I could see that he was being so kind. It's people like him will make me go back to this store. I hope his manager sees this as he deserves to be recognised outstanding customer service.

My purchase was a new mobile and as I am elderly I asked the assistant if he could help me with the basics to get it started which he very kindly did without hesitation.Thank you Shaz your a valuable asset to Argos.

I love this Argos aways got what we want and we always find the staff very helpful and if something is wrong with or item they always offer money back or replacement item. ?????
