Good grief the queues! I was told I didn?t need to book an appointment when I called telephone banking to do so - evidently that?s absolute nonsense. Came to register my father?s death and close his accounts - the bank needs to see the physical death certificate at some point, whether we had completed everything online or not so the queue would have been required regardless. All the staff were kind but there has to be a better way to keep flow going through a branch than this! There is clearly a cash economy locally and the branch was very busy for the nearly three hours I was waiting to be dealt with. If nothing else this branch needs more staff. Perhaps it will get them from the other local branch closures. Absolute shambles.

Don?t know why it takes a long time to see an advisor. Consultations shouldn?t take more than a few minutes per customers. If it takes too long pass it on to the next available advisor or add to waiting list. Some customers want to simply update a phone number and address.

Had a very poor experience at the branch today.Went in to enquire about savings accounts and was told to wait, so we waited. After 30/40mins no one who was waiting had been served, so we informed the staff and left. Saying that sort of wait is not really acceptable, the reply was 'oh some people have been waiting an hr'. I'm sorry but that's not a good reply; address the issue of why people are waiting so long for a basic service - understaffing? Or just slow processes.We visited Halifax (5mins wait) & Nationwide (10mins wait) and will most likely be taking our business there, they were courteous & helpful & appeared to want our business rather than dismiss it*update - thank you for your reply, unfortunately citing the website or app is part of the problem - the relative I was helping does not have the app or a smartphone, otherwise we wouldn't have had to come in branch...

My 4 year old autistic grandson was subjected to racial discrimination at this branch. A member of staff told my daughter to keep her son quiet or he will call the police because is causing nuisance and a disruption to customer. How dare you treat someone like this, what kind of training do you give your staff. This is not a spam post as the bank have acknowledged this and tried to apologise. Wood Green Barclays should be ashamed of themselves. The branch manager was useless! AVOID THIS BRANCH!

The worse customer service I have ever experienced with Barclays.\\n\\nThey blocked my card, asked me to go in the branch, waited over an hour. Problem was never solved. Changing bank now.

They lied to me. Said I could walk in with my passport to open my account. But they told me I would have to wait 2 months and make an appointment. ?? Barclays branch. Needs staff training

Terrible. Over THIRTY people in the queue. FOUR machines not working and only one cashier (who spent 20 minutes not serving anyone)One of the worst experiences in a bank branch ever.
