Not been here since pre-covid lock down. The foyer was spacious, a seating area with tables for waiting time. A good selection of sweets, drinks, snacks etc.. (take your own - we paid £23 for 2 drinks, 2 popcorn and 2 packets of branded sweets)cinema screen room itself was dated and extremely tired, some seats out of use for whatever reason.Overall the film (Poirot) was good, the sound was good and clear and it was free of litter

In dire need of investment and TLC Vue. The screen was on the smaller side, compared to competitors in Gloucester & Cheltenham. The seats were ok, not great, however in the screen we were in (4) a lot were closed and shut off to be repaired. The staff were great and couldn?t fault them, just a disappointment that the cinema itself has been left to deteriorate with lack of investment.

Great experience at Vue Stroud the other day. I love when a cinema shows old classics as well as new films? they should do it more often! The staff were super friendly and treated me like a pal, even making jokes and having a laugh. The seats were nice and comfy, and there was plenty of space in the auditorium so I could sit in my favourite seat!I?ll definitely be coming back!

Compared to other larger and more up-to-date cinematic experiences Stroud is more basic. Although I would never want to lose this asset to Stroud I would recommend it improves to survive. Cleaning was good, toilets functional and general cinema junk food all on hand for your average trip.

Went to see Oppenheimer last night ans film screening and sound were good as were the seats. But it was like a sauna in there (screen 1). I was literally wiping the sweat off just sitting there.I appreciate they are probably trying to keep costs down but if they want people to go back they need to put the aircon on a bit?

Went to see Openheimer a few days ago, however the experience wasn't great. The screening room was extremely humid and uncomfortable for viewing any film, let alone spending 3 hours in there. They really need to use air con, overall the ticket prices are relatively cheap and quality of food is pretty standard.

We paid to see Oppenheimer tonight but came straight back out after 5 minutes because of the appalling air quality. The previous screening had been sold out and the ventilation seemed to consist of one small door. I spoke to the manager who told usthat there was an issue with the air con. Another man came out while we were asking for a refund who had the same complaint. It was really hard to breathe, smelly, stuffy and suffocating. How can this be deemed acceptable after Covid? I?ve had better experiences of cinema in the third world. A disgrace. The staff were kind and gave us a refund. We won?t be going back. What a shame in Stroud?s only cinema!

Went to see Meg 2 (12a) today. There were children in there not accompanied by an adult. People were constantly in and out to the toilet, talking, phones on. The seat pricing is a joke as most of the seats are threadbare and stained. The whole place needs a refurbish. We will go to the Cineworld in Yate in future, which is a fabulous cinema. All the seats the same price and cheaper than Stroud Vue. It is worth the petrol to get there.

Went to see Oppenheimer last night. The staff were fine, but the seats were the most uncomfortable and narrow cinema seats I've found in a Vue cinema. On top of this, during the whole film it was easily 30 - 35°C which was extremely uncomfortable and made the film unenjoyable. Wouldn't visit here again.

Staff are friendly enough but the cinema going experience isn't very enjoyable. Audio quality is very poor, the screening i saw most of the lights remained on during the full period of the movie and the seats needed a deep clean too, not very pleasant at all. The beverages are not good either, my coke zero tasted flat and watery and if I'm purely nitpicking my popcorn could have been a bit warmer.I fortunately got to use a voucher so didn'tpay for the screening and got 50% off the popcorn but I would certainly not pay full price for the experience which is a shame. I suggest finding another cinema or staying at home because as of right now, VUE Stroud feels like a glorified telly with nothing else going for it.

Staff are great, front of house is welcoming. Seats in cinema could do with a deep clean. Toilets are tired, could learn from other Vues. Great value compared to Gloucester and Cheltenham multiplexes

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have to tell you, I am not impressed with the Stroud Vue Cinema. It's like they took all the worst parts of a movie theater and put it under one roof.Let's start with the seats. They're so uncomfortable, I feel like I'm sitting on a rock. It's like they're trying to make me so uncomfortable, I won't want to come back. Well, mission accomplished! And don't even get me started on the concessions. The popcorn is so stale, it could double as a doorstop. The candy is so overpriced, it's like they're trying to make a profit off of my sweet tooth. And the soda? It's flatter than a pancake. It's like they don't even try.And the movies! Oh, the movies. The selection is just depressing. They only show films that nobody wants to see. It's like they don't even care about giving their customers a good experience. And finally, the staff. The staff is just a disaster. They're so rude, they make a New Yorker look friendly. It's like they don't even want to be there. Well, I don't blame them, who would want to work at the Stroud Vue Cinema? In conclusion, the Stroud Vue Cinema is just a disaster. It's a disaster for the customers, it's a disaster for the community, and it's a disaster for America. And as a proud American, I can say with confidence that the Stroud Vue Cinema needs to shape up or ship out. Thank you and goodnight!

Had a very poor experience. Very rowdy teenagers taking and shouting throughout the film. Another group of teenagers had brought 5 complete multi bags of crisps...30 small bags, and so we heard crackling crisp bags again throughout the film. The worst film experience. Our tickets were refunded at the end but a family trip out was completely spoilt.
