An overall good gym, but the WiFi is really poor. No signal with Vodafone and can't stream music on the WiFi. The Internet used to be better few months ago but suddenly many dead zones and blocks some apps etc..

The gym is ok but the swimming pool is not clean, you see people coming in with their shoes walking around the pool, the changing rooms are freezing cold. You spend a lot of money for not much really.

Really disappointed to have just found out that other Nuffield clubs have reopened their jacuzzis yet this one is still closed citing heating costs as the reason back in 2022. This was a company wide decision affecting ALL clubs. Well apparently not. We've had no discount on membership, in fact, fees have gone up. I also know that other clubs have had full refurbs of their facilities whilst this club has a list of repairs as long as my arm!!

Let me start by saying that my Nuffield PT is brilliant and deserves to work somewhere way better than this.But that aside, the gym is shabby, the showers are grim, the pool area is awful its overpriced compared to elsewhere and customer service is awful. I enquired about adding my husband to my membership but they clearly aren't interested in additional business so we'll be moving to somewhere that is better value for money with nicer staff (although I will miss my PT!)

Overall it's a lovely health centre but they should take more care of the pool area. Swimming caps are not compulsory, you can imagine the amount of hair in the water that is not particularly clean also because people use the steam room or sauna and then go straight in the water. Also screaming and jumping in the pool shouldn't be allowed but there is always a bunch of kids who do it.

I've been coming to this gym for years and it gets worse and worse, granted the gym and equipment is brilliant except 1 working water fountian that produces luke warm pond water. If you want to train at peak times then be prepared to train with groups of school children in there school uniform. The most disappointing part of the club is the changing rooms and pool area.... it is terrible.The hot tub is permanently off, showers are always broken and dirty, pool is freezing these facilities are in awful condition and issues need to be addressed as there are cheaper fitness clubs in the area.

I have been with Nuffield for over 3 years now, firstly had my membership in Wimbledon (London) but I have never received such a bad customer service as in the Stoke Gifford one and by only just one person (a lady that wears a white shirt and has black hair and sits at the reception sometimes). I have firstly been questioned in not a friendly manner why I had 2 cards and they were both valid and used them for the past 2 years but didn?t remove them out of my keys so she made me remove one saying that only one works - however I?ve never been pointed by any of the staff member before and I must say all of them are very friendly but her.Then yesterday I walked into the gym at 7PM after work given the change of the weekend schedule to 8PM and I?ve been told even before welcomed to the building that they are closing at 7:30 and asked how come if the schedule says 7:30? And said gym floor and sauna facilities close at 7:30 and the building shuts at 8? What?s the point then changing the schedule to 8 then? I worked in hospitality for many years and if the schedule said a certain hour, we wouldn?t close the facilities 30 mins earlier. In Wimbledon they would close sauna facilities 30 mins before the closing time but gym floor would be still open.Honestly the rudeness and the facilities been broken all the time make me consider actually leaving Nuffield - spa pool was closed over a year ago, there are 2 non functional women toilets for weeks, showers have mould and smell like it, steam room smells mouldy too, what?s the point on paying +80 pounds a month, to get some diseases or what?

This is a leisure centre, not a gym.Subscribed members are limited to one single lane for hours in the evening in favour of swimming lessons and ?family swim?. You can only swim at the crack of dawn or late at night.

I can?t fault the gym or the staff here! Everyone is super friendly and helpful (Brad, Pedro, Callum, Tyler and all other team members)Brad (at reception) went above and beyond to help the other day when I mentioned I had left my card at home (and perhaps misplaced it). As I was walking out after my workout, he had gone to the effort of making a new membership card for me to use without me even asking. Super helpful!Pedro is always smiling and super friendly. His spin classes are amazing (and brutal haha)Highly recommend this gym!

Incredibly disappointed with the customer service. Called to enquire about joining the gym at 10am. They answered then hung up straight away. Called back 15 mins later, they did the same. Called back at 1pm, after a long ring, they hung up again. As annoyed as I was, I called straight back and a guy finally picked up sounding incredibly annoyed. Asked him about the services and swimming facilities in the gym and received blunt answers and incredibly long pauses between my questions. Why would you hire people that aren't trained in customer service? If you employ trainers to work in the gym, why would you make them in charge of answering phones if all they do is hang up the phone? Makes no sense to me. It's a real shame because the pictures of the gym look good, but I won't pay all this money just to be treated like this. Hire people that have experience facing customers.

This is a well-equipped gym with excellent facilities. There is a large free weight area, a lot of weight stations, squat racks and a bodyweight training area with two punch bags. It is clean, busy without being overcrowded, and has a good atmosphere - no attitude. Benefits from a cafe area and pool/sauna.
