Best Indian food I've eaten, everything was gluten-free, and the flavours were fabulous. The staff were great too, we had a lovely experience here.Dietary restrictions: All main courses were gluten free

We had a magical December mini break in the lovely town of Winchcombe We enjoyed 2 very cosy rooms - very clean with comfortable beds. There are lots of little touches like a nice welcome tray and tissues and cotton wool. White company products which were appreciated and the room was lovely and warm on arrival It was a shame that the entrance is no longer used as the fire place would have created a lovely warm space to relax other than the room There are some very low beams and a few trip hazards and a door hing that sticks a long way out into the room and is black and at eye height. We put a white towel on this o avoid an accident. The front two rooms are on the road so in the Summer with the windows open they would be noisy. Breakfast is at an additional cost and available in the pub next door. This is also where you check in. The pub staff were friendly and accommodation and the food was very good. We also enjoyed a very good meal in the Lion - also located in the village All in all a lovely stay.

Wanted to meet friends at a nice quirky place were we cod sit and have a cup of tea, drinks and breakfast and expected that as on previous visit from Wesley House. We were informed early on that they no longer did dinners, but everything else would be available at the hotel. Day before we received an email from White Hart pub next that they were looking forward to see us the following evening. After a lot of phone calls we were eventually informed the White Hart, next door had taken over the hotel, but nothing else had changed in our booking. Indeed on arrival a note on the door informed us to book in next door, where a staff member then took us back to the hotel and let us in to a small cold, but clean room. Turned out it was also part of the emergency exit route? Not exactly basis for a romantic evening. The entrance was cold, untidy thus very un welcoming and the roaring fire we had expected was not lit, despite a big pile of fire wood, and certainly no place to sit over a cup of tea or a drink. In fact you could not even buy it. What about breakfast? Oh it would be served next door in the White Hart. That fell way below any breakfast I have ever had. Rooms were very small and not a place to sit and enjoy a cuppa, that although the ingredients were there, no cups fitted the machine and so few ingredients that they might as well not have bothered. We had no forewarning of the takeover, no chance of cancellation, no apology, no attempt by the new incompetent management to even attempt to make the stay comfortable, in fact i I felt we were totally mislead.

Matthew, our host, was so wonderful. He built a fire in the Inglenook fireplace and served us delicious drinks and then sat down with us for a chat. This B&B was one of the highlights on our Cotswold walk. Our room was wonderful. Wish we had more time to spend in Winchcombe.

My husband and I had to stay at the Wesley Inn during our 2 week stay in the UK because his name is Wesley. What a wonderful place. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our meals there as they were very tasty and a good value for the money. We were made to feel at home in the relaxed and homey setting. We would definitely go back.

Food was good, however service was very disappointing and the waiting staff seemingly lost interest in providing any form of service after coming to the realisation that we were not consuming alcohol. This meant that despite the good food, the evening was slightly soured and on this basis we wouldn't return.

We had a delicious afternoon tea here today which was truely scrumptious. I am dairy intolerant which they totally catered for and the service was brilliant. Would totally recommend and looking forward to returning.

We called in here for lunch without a booking. We were greeted warmly by a friendly waitress (we think her name was Hattie) who showed us to a table in a beautifully decorated restaurant. When we explained we were in a hurry, Hattie looked after us very well and ensured we had our food as quickly as possible. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We will definitely return.

We arrived on one, dreary, sunless day and were instantly cheered up on entering the Wesley, bedecked throughout with silvered decorations and pretty baubles. "Sandy Hollows" our twin room was a triumph of squeezing a quart into a pint pot, small and bijou, on the quieter side, with views out towards Sudeley Castle. It is a splendid place to spend in the pretty and historic, medieval town of Winchcombe, and has a warming log fire burning merrily in a seating area, adjacent to its reception with small bar, to enjoy your favourite tipple or twice. We weren't able to eat here on the first evening, as the elegant restaurant was fully booked, but found sustenance at the very good Lion Inn nearby North St. but did so on our second night following several Covid cancellations. It was our good fortune, as the meal we enjoyed was superb, full of game and good wine. Each morning we were handsomely greeted for breakfast by the irrepressible Rachel, who proved to be a mine of useful information, where to go; what to see. She is a real ?. She guided us to visit the Royal Oak in Gretton, sister premises of the Wesley, blessed with roomier accommodation, with similar food offerings, something we will consider next time we're in the area. The Wesleyan reference to the evangelical brothers simply refers to the fact that they stayed here when proselytizing the 44 sermons of Methodist faith. They must have known something!

Spectacular evening from the moment we arrived through the door. Such a wonderful welcome with superb service. The cuisine was exquisite....every one of our seven courses was truly divine and beautifully presented. Each wine complemented the dish perfectly.Well done Matthew and team and Amelia. You aced it!!!

Had Christmas lunch at Wesley House a week or so before Christmas. The food was very good indeed. Particularly impressed by tender turkey, delicious fresh-cooked veg and wonderful potatoes and accompianments. In light of the difficulties in low numbers of diners etc. I was impressed the standard of food was high.
