The view was beautiful , on the plus side because it was cold they had a wood burner. The portions were too big for us but I am sure that is a good point for most peopleParking: They are busy making it bigger so all good

Well... we stopped here on the off chance at lunch time in the hope of s free table for a spot of lunch. And were very happily met by a young lady who showed us to a lovely table by the fire. I had a burger( possibly one of the best I've eaten in a long time. And my wife had fish. Both meals were excellent, outstanding infact, with two drinks for under 50 pounds, wich in today's money was what I call value for money. Children's play area, access for wheelchair.Funny enough. My wife and I had our wedding reception here nearly 15 years ago. And that to was amazing. Loads of parking, great views of the steam trains and the Evesham Vale.Dietary restrictions: The chief was only willing to help with changing dishes to suit dietary requirements.

Beautiful restaurant. Went for my 30th birthday. Staff were lovely. Addressed as "Sir/Ma'am". This was nice, the vocabulary used by staff was stunning, really made the step up from other restaurants.Food was lovely, so helpful with me being a very beige picky vegetarian.Completely perfect. And dog friendly! So my boy could be there too ??

Nice food, stunning views, reasonable prices, next to a picturesque Cotswolds village. If you are around, it is definitely worth visiting. Cash or cards are both welcome.

I can?t praise the Royal Oak and its staff aHigh enough. There were 15 of us friends having a Christmas meal on the 15 December 2023.The service was perfect. The atmosphere was homely. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The food came out piping hot. All orders were correct. Then came the extras?..vegetables, gravy boats, bread sauce, cranberry sauce?..everything you would expect on a Christmas dinner. The staff were lovely and always watching and waiting to see iff any one needed more drinks or anything. The only thing I might mention is I think it would have been nice to have a Christmas cracker for each guest. But generally it was a great night enjoyed by everyone. Thanks To The Royal Oak.

Lovely country pub with great food and atmosphere, there's even a steam train that runs through the bottom of the garden.

Food was revolting, cheese soufflé was cold and didn't look or taste like soufflé. The only thing that the chef actually prepared was the salad but probably even the dressing was not home made. The bean burger, bun, chips, chocolate brownie, ice cream and I bet the soufflé was also not made by the chef. I never go there again, very bad experience! Put me off going out for meals.
