The Plaisterers Arms in Winchcombe exceeded all our expectations and became the highlight of our trip. Nestled in the charming town of Winchcombe, this pub and B&B offers an unparalleled experience of warmth and authenticity. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with genuine hospitality by the lovely landlady Liz and her team.My friends and I have made a pact that whenever we return for our annual golf weekend at Cleeve, there's no other place we'd rather stay. The Plaisterers Arms has won us over with its charm, hospitality, and impeccable service. If you're searching for a quintessential English pub experience with a touch of magic, look no further than the Plaisterers ArmsFood & drinks: A great selection of quality drinks to enjoy by the fire.

Lovely old pub! Great choice of real ales and fabulous food! The pulled pork roll was delicious!

On a freezing cold January day, this place was just the tonic needed. Warm fire, friendly staff, real ales and outstanding food. Both the Ciabatta baps we had were outstanding; pulled pork and brisket were utterly moreish and, coupled with the ale, I could've happily stayed here all day and not moved. As other reviews have said, I'm just gutted I don't live closer as this would be my regular spot by a mile!

Stopped for food after visiting family in Cheltenham, thought we would get a standard sandwich but was delivered perfection! The chips melt in your mouth, the sandwiches use beautiful bread and everything inside was delicious, freshly made and balanced perfectly.I'm genuinely disappointed that I don't live close enough to come regularly!

They need to update the information about their opening times, they do not open on a Tuesday or Wednesday, not even open for a drink.

What a great pub. Stopped for 2 nights with pals. The landlady, Liz was welcoming and friendly. She went out of her way for us and nothing was too much trouble. Great food and such an historic pub. All five of us had a fantastic stay. Liz has a great sense of humour and is fantastic company. We are already planning our next trip back. The pub is a gem and Liz is a diamond.

Wonderful 500 year old pub in the heart of historic Winchcombe. Handy for visiting the town including shops, restaurants, and other pubs in the town. Within walking distance of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway. Our landlady Liz welcomed us and couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay. Had a two night stay here with 4 friends and we spent two wonderful, convivial evenings with hostess Liz in the old, atmospheric bar trying the well kept real ales, whiskies and other drinks and becoming firm friends with Liz in the process. Earlier we'd enjoyed sitting in the very pleasant beer garden. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Liz cooked us very tasty breakfasts to our choice each day. Highly recommended, especially if you would enjoy staying in a traditional and historic pub.

Had a 2 night stay at this establishment. The landlady, Liz, welcomed us on our arrival and showed us our rooms and was extremely helpful. We spent our second day on the Gloucestershire steam railway and Liz ran us to Winchcombe Station (2 journeys for her). The rooms were clean and functional and I spent 2 very peaceful nights. Full English breakfast was served in the morning. I would highly recommend The Plaisterers Arms.

A great traditional 500 year old pub with an amazing garden and luckily run by a gem of a landlady called Liz who couldn?t do enough for us. Liz was a great hostess to us, I just wished one of us knew how to play the piano!

Our stay at this BnB, hosted by the lovely Liz, was an absolute delight from start to finish. Liz's warm and genuine hospitality truly made our experience memorable. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with a friendly smile and a warm demeanor. One of the standout features of our stay was the delicious breakfast prepared by Liz herself. The fact that she took the time to prepare and serve us a scrumptious breakfast made our stay even more special. What truly set this BnB apart was Liz's personal touch. We spent a rainy afternoon in this pub, a good selection of drinks, well looked after but can take a while to get served when it gets busy
