Good service at all Badhams chemists that I've visited so far. Recently took over the Lloyds Chemists in Longlevens and service has improved tremendously (I previously had to change to Lloyds in Sainsbury's, Barnwood because Lloyds, Longlevens seldom had my wife's drugs on stock)

Rude staff who get your prescription wrong and make out like it?s your fault and then expect you to pay double for them to give you the right prescription. 5 members of the team shouting at me as a customer infront of a shop load of people. Will never be going back. No wonder they have such low reviews on here.

Well, alarm bells should've been ringing when they told the gentleman in the front of the four person queue that they had his medication but it would take 20 mins to print the stickers.20 or so minutes later I'm at the front of the queue. There is about 10 people behind me and the queue is out the door, it is raining bad.The lady serving does her up most not to look panicked. She does this by sacking serving the people in the queue clean off and the staff in the back follow suit by looking at each others smart phones.30mins in, the stickers still aren't printed and the staff are now debating if ear or eye drops are required for the old lady who will more than likely expire before she gets her medication. At this point I decide to go die at home .... it would be more dignified. As I say this, others follow me out of the pharmacy. I hope the old lady survives.

They never answer the phone. I?ve been in the pharmacy and witnessed it not being at all busy and the phones ringing and they?re just chatting away. When I have called and let it ring all the way they just decline the call instead of answering. I?ve called at 10am on a Thursday where it isn?t busy at all.Service is really poor they can see I?m stood there waiting and they just continue their chat at the back about their personal lives. Absolutely disgusting service.

A dreadful experience in here. Audibly discussing their passwords, passwords all written down in the diary. Locked themselves out of the system so prescriptions couldn?t be released. I waited 40 mins for a pre-ordered and ready made prescription because of the shocking systems in place here. Properly schoolboy errors.

They sent me a second flu shot the day before my booked flu shot with no explanation, I tried repeatedly to ring and no one answered and then when I turn up for my appointment I get told it's been cancelled and that sometimes it's so busy they can't get to the phone. What about an answering machine? Also highly skeptical that the three person staffed, totally devoid of customers shop was somehow so busy they couldn't answer the phone for the past 24 hours. Had been concerned to see the reviews, and now I know why. Have been going to a different Lloyds for years before I moved, now i suppose I'll go to Boots.

Lloyds pharmacy in Longlevens is dreadful. The local fb noticeboard page is full of complaints about them. Recently I had dealings with them about booking a flu jab. All their information about it says to ring 'this number'. I have tried to ring that number several times but no one ever answers, however long you let the phone ring. Today I had to go down to the pharmacy and I thought I'd check out the phone while I was there. I rang their number as I entered the shop. I heard the phone ring. There was one customer in front of me, no other customers and I counted four members of staff. It took nearly three minutes for the person in front of me to be dealt with and the phone was ringing, unanswered, the whole time. many people from here have now moved to a different pharmacy that is further away but that does a good job.

Prescription is not ready when expected. They NEVER answer the phone so you cannot check before going if it is ready to collect. The queues are always MASSIVE! I will be requesting Dr send prescriptions elsewhere! They also often do not have enough in stock for what is sent over so you have to keep going back and go through the ore deal again!! Pick another?

The staff at the pharmacy are consistently rude and talk about you loudly to eachother but not to you directly. It's my local pharmacy and i am visiting frequently to pick up medication for my terminally ill mum. They never have all the prescriptions ready, they are argue about what should be there and they are very abrupt and rude. They do not try and explain or help to resolve an issue, they simply shrug and say that medication isn't here. I will be changing pharmacies ASAP.

Absolute disgrace of a pharmacy, I pre order a prescription for collection, so I can then collect a couple of days after it?s due, never happens here. The excuse ?we?re busy? and so am I, I don?t have the time to keep going in to collect my prescription only to be told it?s not ready, I have a job which makes collecting near on impossible due to the opening hours. Lloyds need to get to the bottom of the problem at this pharmacy or simply just close it down, as I think people would rather travel than to be told their prescription isn?t ready ???

Whilst I understand the frustration of the people who?ve had a less than brilliant experience with the Old Cheltenham Road store, I?d like to put somethings in to context. The store supports up to I believe 4/5 surgeries in Gloucester combine that with the online Dr services and the private patients everyday can bring 100+ prescriptions. There is also all of the repeat prescriptions and the medication for home delivery and care home business. Finally there is the MOD section that has to be catered for and work from the local Hospitals. All this happens every day and undoubtedly this causes delays and prescriptions that can only be part filled which isn?t ideal but better some than none. When a store is short staffed by the virtue of Holidays,Sickness and staff leaving and struggling to replace them this puts a even bigger strain on the store and the staff. When you have four staff trying to do the work of 6/7 people it?s very hard to please everyone. Each and every prescription that leaves will need to be double checked and certain medications need to be made up which takes time and accuracy and the patient to be there at the time.Every time a customer asks to speak to the Pharmacist on a medical matter this delays the checking which has an adverse effect on wait times. There are many other factors that impact the day and frustrate and delay customers none of this is intentional but sometimes we get it wrong and when we do the frustrations are widely felt. These are not excuses far from it these are just some of the reasons why there are delays etc.

My prescription has never been ready for collection. Also claim they don?t have the prescription when the GP is saying they do ??such mind blowing incompetenceWhy not dispense in date order, have prescriptions ready an efficient collection, don?t lie about to customers.UntrustworthyThe 20 minute wait when they?ve had the prescription for days is counter productive & illogical.
