Visited many times, most recently: 01-03/03: have stayed in other rooms over the years but now I?m disabled we have the accessible rooms which are larger and have wet rooms for easy access. The beds are always comfortable and the accessible ones are even bigger I think. The hotel is quiet. The air conditioning didn?t work though. It?s annoying there are not many plug sockets and they?re so low on the floor for an accessible room- raise these! Also the remote control is never cleaned in a hotel- we always have a plastic bag to put it in and use!The other issue I have with this hotel are the lack of disabled parking spaces, they only have 4 and they?re always taken. There should be a space per accessible room for when disabled customers are staying. I have to use one of the two spaces owned by TGI Fridays and they?re at an angle and very small.Prices are not competitive these days- long gone are the £49 rooms.

Arrived and checked in very quickly. Friendly gentleman on the reception who was helpful, before heading over to TGI Fridays for tea.Rooms: Room nice and clean with plenty of towels, tea and coffee. As always, lovely comfy bed and slept brilliantly!Food & drinks: Came down this morning and was served by Chef Joel and waitress Cynthia. Both very attentive and food was brilliant. Nothing was too much to ask and plates cleared away quickly so there was plenty of room on the table for everyone. Drinks nice and chilled too. Area was also very clean too.

Lovely eggs, greeted with a warm welcome when we arrived close to midnight and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely ? amazing eggs again however all good was so good. Would recommend as a little easy drop off hotel. Only concern is no bathroom in the restaurant area although did not affect us, just something to keep in mind. Chef Joel was so polite and friendly. Would come again.

A disappointing start arriving just after 2pm in the pouring rain to be told we couldn?t check in until 3, without paying an extra £10. We sat in the car for half an hour then were allowed in at 2.45. The heating didn?t work until we went back down to ask but then it was lovely and cosy! Plenty of hot water, nice powerful shower and a really lovely breakfast room with superb service from Joel (who cooks to order) including all kinds of eggs for the cooked breakfast and gorgeous porridge for the continental. There?s nowhere nearby for breakfast so eating in a good choice.

Where do I start? So checking in was simple, the gent on reception was polite, funny, and charming. My partner is in a wheelchair and he made everything exceptionally easy for us. My partner also suffers from a host of food allergies which is quite limiting, but we?re assured that the chef Joel takes these orders very seriously. After a lovely evening and great rest, we went to the dining hall for the time requested, Joel was listening to the concerns while we were relaying them to Cynthia who also took note of the dietary requirements on paper and provided to Joel. Many people see wheelchair and allergens as a red flag and my partner is rarely treat well because of the ?inconvenience?. This was not the case, Joel went out of his way to ensure safety was paramount and everything was ok.Due to the layout of the dining area, you can see into the kitchen, and watching him work efficiently and cleanly was the pinnacle of happiness. Due to events outside the hotel grounds I was already pretty stressed out, all my fears and concerns were put to rest. This hotel, its staff, their demeanour and attention to detail is without question one of the nicest hotels I?ve been to. Thank you so much!
