Not worth visiting. Do not try scrambled eggs.

?????My stay at Hotel du Vin in Cheltenham on a Monday was fantastic! The room was exceptionally comfortable and clean, and the hotel itself is housed in a beautiful building with a charming dining area. A short walk from the centre of town it is ideally situated. We were able to use the parking on site for the duration of our stay for a small fee.Tommy, our server for the evening meal, was brilliant; his service truly elevated the dining experience to a joyous occasion. We opted for the taster menu that came paired with wines, which was perfect for a lovely evening. Highly recommend for a delightful stay and dining experience!

10/10. All staff are lovely and Corabeth, the manager is the most loveliest person.

Through no fault of the staff, Ben in particular, but no heating in our room and other rooms I understand, we were offered additional free standing heaters which we didn't need at the time of check in. The room had one window with a frosted finish - so no view, and as we were at the back of the hotel we had to put up with the kitchen extractor fan running all night!!!! As I was offered an upgrade at an extra fee of £20 I was shocked by what I got, I wouldn't have called the room a deluxe room at all, but actually I wasn't charged the extra £20Sadly we won't be staying there againFood & drinks: The food was food, and the waiting staff were excellent.

Ooooft! I remember when it opened and it was beautiful. It needs a lot of love in the public areas. The shine has been worn off for sure.Food & drinks: There was a Christmas party downstairs and the staff seemed shorthanded, therefore, the ground floor bar was unattended for long periods. A shame, cos the it?s a beautiful building.

Good old vintage building, but hard to deal with the building maze structure and lots of ups and downs while going to the rooms , the restaurant is good , but the service was insufficient. The idea of outsourcing the fitness to a location of almost a mile far isn't smart , rather to dedicate small space instead ... Had bad experience with visiting the gym which was almost 15-20minutes running from the hotel at a rainy morning ...Rooms: Tight but cozy and nice rooms but hard to find and the system of names instead of numbers makes it more complicated ...Nearby activities: Nice location if you are a walking guy lot of restaurants and cafes aroundWalkability: Good place to walk around

Not the best trip, not the service and care you would expect from a 4 star hotel, breakfast service was probably the worst I have had. Lack of staff and no food to cover dietary requirements a very poor showing.

We stayed as part of my proposal to my now fiancee, the staff especially Millie and Hakeem could not have done more to make our stay better. The rooms are beautiful with some having a bath in the main room and the hotel having the consistent theme of dark wood and leather throughout. We had a small housekeeping issue that was quickly solved at night moving to another room on the same side of the building for convenience. I had stayed here prior to this visit and had no issues so rest assured it is a one-off.Once again a big thank you to the team for making the stay extra special.General practical notes:Parking on the actual hotel at £10/day this is limited but they do provide permits on-street for the same price. These expire at 12pm the next day and the parking enforcement are vicious so ensure you have moved to the hotel car park or onwards before then.

Stayed at Hotel du Vin this weekend with my husband and two boys. The room was decorated beautifully, however when the double sofa bed was out, it out off access to the bathroom, you had to claim over the bed, which was tricky in the middle of the night, I scared my youngest son.The bathroom was fabulous, the best water pressure I've ever experienced in a hotel. I filled the roll top bath in a minute flat.We really enjoyed the bar in the evening and the breakfast the next morning. Lots of options.Rooms: Beautifully decorated and romantic.Food & drinks: Amazing wine menu and room service.

Love this HDVWe stayed on a Sunday recently (15th October)The manager went over and above to ensure we were allocated a room that met our needs & I?m fussy. The room was beautiful, still waiting for heated towel rails to be connected & a bit more tweaking, as recently renovated, but SO plush and comfortableNice Locitanne toiletries.Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of high quality hot and cold choices.Freshly squeezed orange juice was the only thing missing, for us.Just one thing that needs improving - that?s staffing level/staff training, like most hospitality venues. However, management are doing a brilliant job, especially as we stayed during the Literary Festival- busy time. We?ll return soon and can highly recommend the HDV in CentralLocation is great - really close to the centre of Cheltenham, but in a lovely leafy side road.Parking too.
