I usually avoid BHF as they are very expensive considering they're a charity shop. But this place was quite well priced and I will definitely go again. I bought a couple of useful things at good prices which is what a charity shop should be about. Raise money for said charity whilst helping the less fortunate afford decent items of clothing/furniture.

Organised for collection - took a half day off work - told they should be here between 12 and 6pm - no show, no calls. An apology at least would help.

Drivers won't take goods unless they really want to.. in good condition but complain that items aren't able to be taken. Don't waste your time!

Take your charity elsewhere is the bottom line. I had two pieces of furniture that I wished to donate to the BHF - one sofa and one filing cabinet. I filled in their online form and later the same day received a phone call from one of their agents. I explained that I was happy to send photos of the items, as they did have some cosmetic damage (small area of peeling on faux leather on the sofa and a scratch on a filing cabinet). The agent said that as long as the fire labels were on the items, they were happy to collect. We set up an appointment for collection. When they came to collect, they rejected the items and said that my pieces of furniture were not visually up to standard and in fact should be for the "tip." I found this really insulting, as all I was trying to do was help. I didn't need to be sat at home all afternoon wasting my time waiting for these people to come collect only for them to tell me that my donation was for the "tip." I'll certainly be taking my charity elsewhere.

Found an armchair which was exactly what I've been searching for. Looked new, solid, well built and I'm certain was fairly expensive when new. Comfortable, and looks great. Wonderful service both in store and delivery. Take a look. This store has some amazing items at amazing prices. I can't recommend this store highly enough.

Polish driver constantly refuses to take away items we and family members wish to donate. My parents are elderly and the driver was rude and very impolite, and it is always the same driver, think they need to get rid of him,he is just lucky I wasn't there at the time as he wouldn't have spoken to me in that way,British heart foundation need to get a grip and give this excuse of an employee a lesson in manners

This store officially opens on 21st November, stocking home furniture and electrical items. It is a large store and will provide a good range of reasonably priced items.
