First time visit, for mum's birthday, and what a hit! Amazing food, best curry we have ever had. Fish kebab sooooo delicious! And chicken with lamb just melts in your mouth! Polite staff, clean restaurant. Will definitely be back for

An excellent, up-market Indian restaurant which fully reached the heights of its reputation. The venue is delightful and the staff are helpful and friendly. But the food was the standout! a great selection of dishes and all beautifully spiced and presented. A lovely experience - thank you.

Second tome visiting Koloshi as havent been in a few years. Had a really lovely meal, staff extremely attentive, food cooled to perfection and the decoration of the restaurant is awesome. Really nice chilled evening.

The first time we came here I had the monkfish which was delicious. The second time It was flabby, cold and I left most of it. Restaurant never came back to me when I emailed them directly about it the following day.

Fabulous takeaway meal even though the Madras came as Lamb when Chicken was ordered - maybe that's why it was dearer than expected (the box was marked as C-M), just as well my husband liked lamb. The Chicken Passanda was beautiful. Thank you ?

The best Indian food I?ve had since I?ve been on this planet. It doesn?t taste like every other Indians out there. Fresh, hot and great service. This is the gold standard of Indians.Vegetarian options: Best vegetarian options I?ve ever found

This used to be a very special place for special occasions and had food that was a level above in both quality and flavour. The staff were friendly and we got to know their faces and them ours, even though we were occasional diners. The booth tables, round table layouts and intimate lighting were all contributing to the ?special? ambiance. But things have changed, entire staff have gone except, we are told, the chef and the owner. The food is still good but favourites have disappeared, used to have the most amazing prawns with salad and welsh lamb chops cooked rare, even the naan bread isn?t as lightly buttered and fluffy as it used to be. Maybe the amount of changes are just too much for us, but we won?t be so keen to return, it?s just not as special as it used to be.

WOW what a place! As an Indian, it?s not easy to find food that beats home cooking. Koloshi is incredible. The food was so tender with vibrant flavours that take you right back to India. The service was excellent and the interior ambience is lovely. Highly recommend this place if your looking for a great Indian in the area.

Really good atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. The menu is varied and offers a good choice including the vegetarian which was excellent. Good sized portions. Our meal was well cooked and presented and really nicely spiced. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend.

The food was incredibly good. The owner is also the chef and he produces seriously great food. He has won awards for his skills.Almost certainly the best Asian restaurant in the county if not the south west.It was also reasonably priced at around 32 pounds per head. This included starter, main course, papadums with dips, nan breads plus a round of drinks and six glasses of water with lime wedges. There was no charge for the water. The round of drinks also included 2 extra beers. At that price I thought it was very reasonable.Highly recommended. We shall visit again.

Having travelled from Fowey to Coleton Fishacre NT, then on to Topsham and finally from Topsham to Koloshi we were tired, hungry and stressed. We hadn't dined here before but I checked good old TA and this restaurant looked inviting so I booked well ahead. What a lovely place.Courteous service as soon as we entered the premises, pleasant ambience and the food- packed with flavour and umami. All the staff without exception were professional and attentive. We still had an 80 mile journey home so we had to cut having poppadoms and or starters but what we had: chicken madras with boiled rice, chicken jalfrezi with onion rice and garlic naan was handsome. My gin and soda was served perfectly and we relaxed after our long trek. We then rushed off after paying our bill. Within a few miles I realised that I'd left my mobile phone( never done that before!) and phoned Koloshi Restaurant.Thankfully, they had my phone.I went back in and spoke with the Maitre D'hotel(lovely gentleman) and he gave me my phone carefully wrapped in a paper bag. Phew.Excellent service. The total cost was £49.00 and worth it.We will visit again and very soon. Many thanks to all the Koloshi team.

Decent portions but quality wasn't that great probably the worst butter chicken I've ever had chicken was undercooked and in big pieces, asked for still water they bought me sparkling, we didn't complain even though we didn't drink it but when they didn't return my £13 change when I paid the bill in cash, I went to the manager on my way out and said you can keep it but it's not ethical to forcefully keep tips. Not a great experience overall.
