A terrible hostess who is way above her station. I have never been so disrespected by an ignorant women who thing she is is a landlady, she is nothing but a fool on a power trip, disrespecting her customers, and thinking the world of herself. Rude and I will never return. Would like to buy her out and put her ok the streets. Good luck. You wast of space. You never know who you disprove of until it to late.

Great local village pub, the people running it are very welcoming, the bar area is laid out nice the seating arrangement is nice with cosy little places to sit amongst the old beams. The food, though we didn't eat, looks delicious. And they do a great pint of Guinness. It has a real nice ambience with people chatting. Definitely a place to go in the summer with their outdoor area. If you are in the area, look it up. You won't be disappointed

As members of the Austin Healey Club South West we found ourselves in the position of having to find a new venue for our monthly ?get together? and annual meetings. What a find indeed! From the outset all of the staff have been helpful, friendly and accommodating - as well as a couple of meetings we have already held our AGM followed by 3 course dinner for all. All of our meals were delicious, plentiful, great value and served with smiles all round by the staff! As I write we are this evening meeting up again at The Royal Oak for our monthly social and are all looking forward to their wonderful hospitality and great beer! Thank you for looking after us so well and we very much look forward to a long and happy relationship!

Lovely chance find whilst passing. Friendly welcoming staff, and despite no chef, and apologies for the limited menu, one of the best Sunday luches we've had in a pub. Would definitely go out of our way to go back in the future. Thank you.Parking: Parking area behind pub, and on road parking in vicinity.

Travelling in the area and found this random little Gem of a pub! There was a small car park at the side.Lots of room inside for sitting and with the large beer garden and outdoor bar too, it was clear this was a pub that put a lot of effort into keeping people happy and entertained.Food and drink were soon ordered and soon on the table! Veggie options were available which is always great to see. The veggie lasagna was delicious! Staff were friendly and prices were fair!If ever I'm in the area again, I'll be popping by!Enjoy!

Went to this pub one day before Cheltenham - £5 pint Guinness for the first drink, then the landlord decided to put the prices up to £7.50 a pint, because of the racing tomorrow. Absolutely disgraceful. No respect for visitors that help support the local economy. Will not be coming back!
