Incredibly disappointed with the service received from Wickes, especially Edith. We had a new bathroom fitted at the end of last year(2 months ago) and already things are going wrong!When we booked with Edith, she told us that she was overcharging us at the beginning to ensure that covered any extra work that needed doing, but if it didn?t she would refund - but that would be it in terms of payment. We left the store with a quote that was fixed for a week, we then paid within that week and she charged us an extra £900 on that quote saying she added more things ?just in case?. Maybe that should have been the first red flag for us.The bath room then gets fitted and we hear nothing from Edith, ever since she took our money we did not hear from her again. We had a few issues with the installation so we even went in store to look for her, a member of the team said she would contact us so we waited but we didn?t hear anything back. We then got given another invoice of £1200 just before Christmas for extra work - so we wanted to know what on earth we paid Edith for at the beginning?! We also knew that some of the extra work she made us pay for didn?t get done, so we were also hoping to sort out that refund she promised us. Silly us!We then went to our customer care adviser and told her that our town rail doesn?t work and our toilet seat had broken, and the query with the refund. This was a month ago we raised these issues and to this day we have not had a response. The care adviser keeps saying she is chasing Edith, but I refuse to believe she is that hard to get hold of when she was calling us three times a day when she wanted money, so clearly neither of them can be bothered to help us.I am completely and utterly disappointed with the service I have received from Wickes, we have spent so much money for a bathroom that is falling apart already and we are just getting ignored when asking for help. It has been two months and not a single call or email from Edith to see how it has gone. She has literally taken our money and ran.If I knew what I knew now, I would never have given my money to them in the first place. I tell all my friends and family to avoid them. They are just in it for the money, not the slightest bit of customer care. I have never come across such an awful company.

I needed a refresh of my shower room and cloak room. Edith from the design team at Maldon has done an excellent job. Her designs and ideas have been inspirational. She listened to me and fulfilled all my requirements, answered any questions I had and was happy to adapt her initial designs to incorporate the little tweaks I wanted. The rendered designs on her computer were amazing. I feel sure I will be getting two wonderful rooms and would not hesitate to recommend Edith for her enthusiasm to deliver what the customer wants and her design expertise. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

EVERY Wickes needs a Dave! Goes over n above. Legend! 5 stars for you, Mr!However, a Wickes kitchen is only as good as it's fitters/subcontractors.Still incurring considerable costs to put right a kitchen fitted in 2020!

Very disappointing store with useless lazy staff. I needed a rubber washer for my shower hose. I took the shower head with me so I got the right size. The guy on Customer Service pointed to the end of the isle and said I would find the one I needed in a blue package. They were metal washers.I walked off and found another Wickes employee filling a shelf. I asked if he could help me and he said ?you?ll find them down the plumbing isle?. I asked if he knew what size I would need and he said ?I wouldn?t have a clue?. So off I went to the plumbing isle. There were about 12 or more different packs of assorted washers and I had no idea what ones I needed so left the store empty handed - other than the shower head I turned up with.Useless and very unhelpful staff. No star rating in my opinion. Plus only one disabled parking space

Wicks is a cross between building trade and occasional DIYer. Not often catering for eithers needs.Certainly could widen choice of lights/ taps / flooring . Decidedly limited

Here we go again.. Walked in large bucket with 2 for £20. Bought 2... not £20, said to the old guy on the till that it said 2 for £20 as you come in. He said not true show me, so I did, he then pointed out the small print that said it's on another product that was being stored in the bin's they sell, however this bin was empty, so very very confusing for a customer, which they should be aware of. Now this guy then accused ME of being DISINGENUOUS... Called the manager who then offered a £2 discount??? Now this is not about money. Any reasonable person would not insult a customer who is quite rightly pointing out an issue. Shocking.. and get the guy some retraining. F-
