“Staff are brilliant and always helpful at Harlow, but god I hate the Toolstation website with a passion. There's so much wrong with it, my two biggest gripes are the truly awful search facility and no means to easily check stock of an item in nearby stores without manually selecting different branches.”

“Popped into Giggear today for the first time in a few months. They had exactly what I needed, at a fair price. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly as they have always been over the many years I’ve shopped there. I wanted to try a guitar for a possible future purchase, this wasn’t an issue at all. Large car park alongside with free parking but if you are tempted to browse in Sainsbury's and have a coffee or tea in their coffee shop note that free parking is a maximum of 3 hours.”

“Went on a Monday and Homebase was quiet.They stock huge range of items plants for inside and out, gargening, home DIY and flooring just to mention a few.The item I was after had been moved as setting up for Christmas so ask and the gentleman was ever so helpful, walked the length of the shop with me to found the item was not to be in stock for the colour I was after but he explained that I could check prior to coming or order to my home or to store.If you need anything for the home it worth a visit and we don't want to lose it like the Chelmsford store, now gone.Setting up for Christmas now, brilliant.”

“I went into B&Q at Harlow today with 3 items only one of which that I'd bought on line from B&Q. I asked if they had a customer service and was direct to their manager. I don't think that I have ever been so impressed, he was super helpful in every way and solved my problem in minutes. “A large store with a huge variety of homeware, furniture, lighting clothing, shoes etc at good prices. Very spacious ideal for motorbility scooters, children buggies and wheelchairs. Unfortunately regular long queues at checkouts so be prepared. Free car parking alongside store for two hours via a voucher given with receipt.”

“Very helpful member of staff. Only draw back was he offered 5 year cover for £55. When I opened the item it had a free upgrade to 2 years warrantee. Ans as the Currys one only kicked in after the manufacturers guarantee run out I cancelled it.”
