Unhelpful staff and long wait times for an initial appointment. I wanted to open a bank account but was given the run around. They could only grant me a first appointment in 8 days time. At that appointment the banker just took down my information and then made another appointment for the following week. I phoned the person I was meant to be seeing for some information a day before the appointment but she never phoned back. Now almost four days have gone by, and I've heard nothing. But that's OK I took my business (and a substantial sum of money) and went to Lloyds bank where I was treated like royalty. Hard luck Santander!
