A very nice selection in coral i will be checking this place out again also the marine live stock is also a nice selection too a medium range in shelf items not too much. If your going for gear or something specific give a phone call first and make sure. The owner is friendly so yeah check it out if your passing the boarder of colchester you wont be held up in any traffic

Well worth a visit, the 2 guys that work there are so knowledgeable, they?ve helped me out no end since I?ve been using them.Was almost ready to give up reefing in the first few months, then found this place and now 2 years on I have a beautiful thriving reef. Can?t thank them enough. They have a beautiful selection of both healthy looking fish and corals alike, wouldn?t go anywhere else for stocking my tankWell deserved 5 star ??????????

Been a regular with reef exotic for the last 2 years as they are my local fish store.This review is on the basis of my latest tank upgrade.I ordered £3000 worth of equipment through them and was even a little difficult asking if I could have the tank delivered while picking up the extras in person.They were amazingly understanding and delivered it personally as well communicating clearly to ensure a smooth operation.I can't recommend these guys enough as they are clean and professional.

I?ve been with Reef exotics since the start of my reef tank journey 6 odd years. Dave and his team have helped so much from advice to actually coming round my house to give advice on my system. The shops well stocked with dry goods and there?s always something tempting in the coral bays. I would highly recommend this shop to the novice to the experts.

Great service by Reef Exotics, changing over old leaking 350 tank to a New Red Sea 350, all coral and fish made it through the change over without an issue , the new setup was crystal clear within 2 hours of completion.

Fantastic and friendly staff, when we first started out in this hobby we hadn?t heard of reef exotics we started off somewhere else and everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong as we were misinformed, we found reef exotics and they helped us correct everything, and to understand the hobby and were always at the end of the phone, they have been absolutely amazing and wouldn?t go anywhere else now!They are great with letting you know what fish you can and can?t have together, what will eat corals etc and are always providing excellent customer service.They have helped us change tanks with a full new set up and have been amazing.Highly recommended!
