“Today, I did a significant £500 shopping haul at Primark, and I must say, the prices have become unbelievably high; it's not the Primark I remember. As I was exhausted and worried about managing all my shopping bags alone, especially since some Primark staff weren't very helpful, a wonderful cashier named Mercy at the Colchester Primark store came to my aid.Mercy's friendliness, helpfulness, and kindness shone through as she assisted me with my bags to the ground floor. Her smile and sweet voice eased my concerns, and I'm truly grateful for her assistance. “Went to the carpark here it’s very small and card only. Some of the pumps were quite slow but it’s not too much of a detour if you’re on your way to Mersey island and I recommend filling up before you get on the island just incase. There is an Asda supermarket just next door incase you need anything. There was no staff present but it was very clean.”

There was a large selection and also a great choice of thermal underwear, camping equipment , every type of outdoor clothing for all weather at very competitive prices.Millets has been in Colchester for years and is a valuable asset.”

“Decent selection of clothes, could be better but as I say, it's "ok".Usual problem that's already been mentioned is that click and collect is upstairs and fitting rooms are downstairs, so if you want to try on something you have ordered it's not as easy as it could be.Add in that it is cramped and the narrow aisles make it hard to negotiate your way through, especially on a busy weekend day.There should also be a large, clear sign that tells you the click and collect is UPSTAIRS! Many people have queued downstairs at the tills for 10+ minutes only to be told to go upstairs to the Click and Collect machines. When you do go upstairs, there's not enough (or any?) signage that tells you where this is, so some people end up waiting at the till on the upstairs floor....only to THEN be directed to the machines hidden behind a wall.So yes, more signage or a better layout or both.”

“Visited lion walk boots today.Well I’m so happy I did! I went it wanting to get some new beauty products on the little knowledge I have (trying to be more girly).Louise approached me & im so glad she did, she makes you feel like nothing is too much to ask & makes you feel special. The skin colour match machine was not working but she helped me anyway and we found it, she is very welcoming and knowledgable, which I was shocked considering I then found out it’s her first week, I would never have thought it was!Thank you Louise for just being Fab & making my shopping so much less stressful!”

“Really good stock inside and plenty of good sport options for good prices. Only problem I had here was in the junior section I was drawn to a pair of trainers for my daughter.the staff member said sorry they only go to a size 5 and directed me to more expensive trainers. Then I said the sticker inside the shoes say they go to a 6.5 to which his reply was they only stock 5s in the shop. So again I went back and a different colour pair of trainers above the original ones I spotted were size 6. I questioned the man again and he was like "that's weird, let me scan the ones you were looking at first" and low and behold they had a 6 in stock ?. If he scanned it to start with we could've avoided me turning into a Karen ?? make sure tou go with your gut guys!”

They took the time to do a thorough search of the store despite the stock showing zero. It was the discontinued version which she had set her heart on. My husband thought he had had no luck but someone found him in the store before he left as they had found one. So so grateful, especially as it was so busy in the store. You made a 6 year old little girls birthday complete.”
