Lovely huge selection of vinyl for an oxfam, not sure why people are complaining about prices just because it is a charity shop doesn't means the prices should be ultra cheap. The money does go to charity after all.

I was delighted to donate my record collection and pleased with the welcome. People have the wrong idea about pricing and misunderstand the word 'charity'. They are selling goods professionally to raise money- here for the impoverished overseas. If they weren't doing their job well it would be closed down. Hopefully 'my' records will be sold for over £50 --£250 at least, there were over 50. Given they are gift aided. This will have meant I will have donated £25 per £100 , without me being out of pocket, and to give pleasure to the purchaser. If they don't want to buy them they can buy new records, if available, (some were old or unusual recordings), on-line, or look for another record shop in the City!....where! (Some traditional charity shops sell CDs in amongst the clothes and shoes. Will not raise the maximum possible for the CDs, which is the donor's aim)

Always a great place to find some interesting books. Much bigger range than typical charity shop, and sorted by category too.

Massively overpriced. Prices are same as what you could buy the books new for. Other books priced twice the original price. For donated items, they are really up selling.

Meant to be a charity shop... So overpriced I thought I was in Harrods! The records are at prices that you would pay for a golden press! £50+ no wonder the place is full of vinyl. This is pretty disgusting I would avoid any Oxfam shop in Chelmsford. This is not charity this is GREED!

Oxfam record and book shop super store as far as I'm concernced plenty of books on the ground floor and plenty of baragins singles albums cds tapes videos dvds and even 12" inch singles to wet any vinyl lover apetitie. I love going in there sometimes and will come again soon.

Large selection but extremely over priced. Most books selling at very close to what you pay for new on amazon.
