We visit this Harvester on regular basis for lunch.
Recently the decor is looking extremely tired, and the variety of the salad bar isn't as varied as it was.
Some days the food is amazing, and others it's nothing special.
Which is a shame, you expect it to be decent all of the time.
My mum decided to have cod and chips, it didn't look or taste of cod, and the batter was so thick and hard.
I nearly always have simply chicken, it is always nice, but the jacket potatos varies, it's either nice and flavourful or hard and dry, such a shame!.
And why have they changed the vegetables?!
Hard undercooked, earthy broccoli sprouts and greasy butternut squash, well that's what it looks like. Next time I'll just have the salad with the chicken and jacket potato, but then, I still pay for vegetables!

Great restaurant. Friendly atmosphere. We popped in for Saturday lunch and there was a face painting artist there which I think is a great idea. We had a nice light lunch bite with unlimited salad and soft drinks. Quick and polite waitress served us which helped keep our kids calm as there was no stress. I really like coming here.

Overall good quality food with a great unlimited sale bar. All 3 courses of good seemed a bit overpriced, however, the mains not doo much as the starters and desserts. Tables left a little bit to be desired on cleanliness. Good location and large car park. Our food was cooked very well and plenty of it.

Harvesters are all basically the same. Salad bar and food options need improving. Would prefer to see the menu returned to what made their name good.

Lunch time visit. A-la-carte dining only (unlike breakfast) but the menu is extensive and salad bar unlimited. Unlimited coffee can't be beaten. Food good quality with plenty to fill even the largest appetites. Deserts are pretty good too. All round excellent value for money as it cost only £20 plus drinks for family of 4 introductory offer when installing their app first time. Check their web-site for details.
