Through covid it needs to be said staff was so helpful. I generally suffer with anxiety but I could continue shopping only because the patience shown by the staff.\\nThe waiting time at the till is more than acceptable for the savings but still brilliant quality of the food

Don?t usually shop in Here but started to at the moment and the one specially I go to in Chelmsford is quite good for value and not usual busy the time I go in and the products are fairly good For a reasonable price The staff are very helpful and very polite one evening I went in there just before closing after work rushing around to get a few bits the young lad on the till actually run around helping me get some bits as well so staff excellent very helpful and friendly

I think a lot more people are experiencing their food and prices with the economic change. Good quality food for the price you pay. If you are one of those people who has to have a brand name I would say give them a try. You maybe surprised on some items and others not so much. If you want to try something different you can and it won't hurt your pocket. Staff are pleasant and helpful, but be prepared to queue from time to time.

My first visit to this store. Really impressed with the prices e.g. most of the loaves of bread under a £1, (cheapest I think was only 36p), and Tempranillo red wine at £3.29! I was also really impressed with the range of quality and vegetarian foods, many of which were very authentic, without all the chemicals and e numbers. No wonder Aldi is expanding its number of shops so rapidly in the UK.

Staff are always friendly especially the cashiers! Mostly clean and tidy and easy to find items. Brilliant range of most things, I normally end up buying bits I didn't know o needed!

Frequent shopper at Aldi however today's customer service was appauling, now we don't go to Aldi for great customer service that's what M&S are for, however to be told to unload at a till to then proceed to open another till and begin serving leaving those on the original till waiting without a cashier is awful, to then see member of staff walk past the till and say to another member of staff they are not opening the till yet and will be back! The manager came over and ignored the people waiting! The tannoy then said the till was closing! 2 people walked out and luckily a lovely lady let me shoot in front of her! Not good Aldi ð??¡

A good place to shop for random stuff. 'Specialbuy' deals vary weekly, like in the other similar type of budget supermarket close by. I would use this first and go top up in another main stream supermarket.
