Polished concrete floor with a modern twist - we used this Company to install a new floor over the existing kitchen and utility areas and an extension with the new floor being covering one continuous area. The effect we went for was polished concrete using a microcrete technology. The fitting team are highly knowledgeable about their product and you should take the time to ask plenty of questions and they will assist by going into great detail and show you a large section of what the finished product would look like. The finished product can have a range of grey shades and can look anything from a smooth surface to a more industrial look - so you should discuss this in detail. There is a bit of prep getting the concrete screed prepared in the way specified but it is worth taking the time to get this right. We have underfloor heating and despite the fact that we have three different floors joined together over a very large area we have zero signs of cracking and that's following a long winter. We find the floor heats up pretty fast and holds the heat well. One of the things we will be going for is a waxed effect over the finished product - this will bring out the more industrial effect we wanted. We've had a couple of queries after installation and the team are more than happy to come over and answer questions and make suggestions. One thing I like is the fact that if you decide down the track you want a change in colour or effect (more or less industrial) then it's easily doable.Service: Install flooring
