took a brand new pair of shoes in to get a non slip sole and when I went to pick them up a week later they couldn't find them. the assistant seemed to think this was rather amusing. As I specifically bought them for an event this this weekend, I don't.

I declined to get cut; a standard Yale (barrel front door key) @ Timpson's- due to their online site listing such at the £20 mark :( exorbitant!!I subsequently got the same key cut at a local iron mongers for less than £4 ;)Moral of the story.. shop around and you don't get ripped off!
