We have booked service and mot and paid in advance booking number: A328B066602 . On the day dropped our vehicle in the morning. Called after an hour with a list of recommended things that needed doing like tyres despite still legal and half thread or brake discs that legal and only changed year ago and vehicle only done 6k since . I asked to call me after the mot to see what issues need addressing. They called my wife instead stating all done and ready. To our surprise mot not done and told adamantly it wasn't booked. When showed the emails with booking and payment told the centre can't do anything and need to talk to customer services on the phone. Over the phone told we are sorry and we will refund your mot fee but can't fit you in until 18th. Our mot expires on the 7th so had to scramble and book elsewhere but wasted day and pure lack of interest from halfords as all they were happy was to take our money and tried to flog unnecessary work for almost 1000 pounds altogether. Never again will take any of my vehicles there.Halfords reply indicates that they are reaching out but no messages calls or emails received. We are happy to discuss it with them further anytime. I am appalled by their service. I recently paid for a major service to be done on my car which includes all of the services as shown in the photo. The following day, my car had a warning light on the dashboard to get my brake fluid checked out. I reviewed this and my brake fluid needed topping up and was basically empty, meaning that although I have paid for this to be done during the major service, it was untouched, they even noted that they had completed this work. Alongside this, they don?t renew your spark plugs for you, which is usually included in a major service but had the cheek to ask me to pay £173 to replace the 3 in my car. I don?t understand why I?ve paid £300 for the service when they?ve done nothing? Disgraceful and I would not recommend them to anyone, but advise people to not use them.

Lovely lovely guys. I booked my car in for a warning on my dashboard and they quickly established the sensors had been connected to the wrong tyres! When I turned up to collect my vehicle they said there was no charge for sorting it. It is so refreshing in this day and age. Thank you once again and I?m so grateful for the wonderful service.

Use them often and great service. On this occasion though they unfortunately gave my key to another customer who had driven in off the street so details unknown when they drove away. Not the end of the world as the spare was also nearby. Happily they agreed to replace it, sadly, a month later and I learn that they haven?t yet paid Nissan for it! Shocking!

Had my car booked in for an MOT here at 10am just before 10am arrived only to be ignored in the reception for a good few minutes even though 2 members of the team were there. When the man did acknowledge my existence I was told rudely that the car was booked in for 12:40 even though I have 2 text messages confirming 10. When I showed them they told me nothing they could do about it?s a system error. As a woman in this environment I was made to feel stupid and belittled and not helped by these employees at all. If they can?t even manage to make a booking what faith can I give to them managing my vehicle. More than that it was the way the employees made me feel, the most unwelcoming place I?ve ever entered. I?ve only ever used Yeomans Toyota before where the service has been exceptional and the staff amazing. Needless to say I won?t be returning to Halfords Autocentre.

I cannot praise the two gentlemen who served me highly enough! I'd had an awful week with various things and then my car failed the MOT on something quite minor but because I had other stuff going on I was finding it difficult to sort out and ended up going in there and embarrassingly bursting in to tears. The staff on that day were so kind and understanding and couldn't have done more to help. Without a doubt, their customer service was outstanding, and if they read this- thank you ??

I've went to them few times now and I have only great things to say about them they're friendly, honest with the client(I had something what they couldn't fix and they advised me to go somewhere instead of pretending to do the job and take my money for nothing) and also trusty I left my wallet in the car nothing missing . I went into Halfords recently to have a few bits done on my car. Having absolutely no knowledge of the inside of my car, I was pleasantly surprised by the way the staff here explain in simple jargon-free ways that even I can understand. All work was carried out in a timely fashion and I was also surprised that I was advised my brake discs and pads didn?t need replacing yet even though I thought they did and was one of the reasons I?d booked it in. Many other garages I?m sure would have done them anyway and charged me. For that reason alone will always return to Halfords for any work needed and will now also be my destination for all future MOT?s & Services.All the staff that I interacted with here were fantastic, professional & friendly and I was also very impressed with the payment options available as it made the cost easier to manage.Upon collecting my car I also had a chat with the centre manager (here at Eastbourne) and shared my feedback on his staff with him. He was very pleasant to speak with, complimentary of his team and was a fantastic ambassador for Halfords. Top service guys, I?ll certainly be spreading the word.Services: Tires
