I would not recommend Claire's for ear piercing.We paid about £70 for my daughter to have her ears pierced.The piercing was fine but we should get a years supply of earrings.I have received nothing, even after contacting customer service 4 times, where they replied once.My only option is to inform trading standards and request a refund at a small claims court.Terrible service

Never been in there obviously but walked past today and saw a toddler screaming her head off while getting her ears mutilated and no one was doing anything about it. How on earth is child abuse in public allowed to happen like that? Unbelievable

I had a parcel delivered in store by evri which was photographed by the driver on the Eastbourne counter. I arrived at the store to collect where I was greeted by a rude staff member who said the parcel was not there I asked to see the manager but apparently she was on break and couldn?t deal with the matter the till staff went out back three times to see the manager each time I got a rude response! I?ve ended up without my delivery as the staff have lost it and not offered a refund this is not acceptable service they are rude and incompetent and as for the manager too busy to deal with paying customers it?s disgraceful managerial behaviour CLAIRES EASTBOURNE DOESN?T DESERVE 1 STAR ?

Generic Claire's shop. Took my daughter for her ear piercing in the morning around 10am. Staff was behind counter at first scribbling on some work document? Then she was on a phone call... I stood at the counter and waited for the phone call, she then finished said phone call and then proceeded to text... I waited patiently... Then she started scribbling on her document again completely disregarding my presence when I was directly Infront... Anyways... When I finally spoke to staff she appeared shocked!In the end we couldn't get the piercing done as the 2nd ear piercer was not going to be in till the afternoon around 2pm...

I do love this store, but if you are buying nose studs be aware that the stone (when I brought some) generally falls out pretty quick, my last purchase was only about a week ago and 2 were crystal studs, within 2 days both studs crystals had fallen out, even though I took them out when sleeping, washing etc.. so was very disappointed.. I would suggest a nose hoop if that is something you would wear, they do very thin to thicker and some with patterns etc on, as seen in photo attached to this review.The staff however are very friendly, and there is a wonderful selection of everything from hair bands to a bandanna, hats and jewellery, including piercing, which I think is a great idea for that kind of store, and they are all very well trained.Overall, great shop,and staff, it was just the nose studs I've had an issue with.. if you do buy a crystal stud, please keep the receipt or u won't get your money back or exchange for the item.
