WHSmith is a brand one finds in every railway station, some of the stores are not bad including London Euston, Manchester Piccadilly and St Pancras, the latter I actually was heading to on my recent train trip from Brighton. This store is pretty much typical of Brighton Station, from the outside it looks nice but as you go into the store it is pretty basic, I found the selection to be much more limited than other nearby stores and a lot pricier too with drinks around £2-3 each, unlike the nearby stores offering similar products: Superdrug and Marks and Spencers, they didn't seem to have any multi-by offers here or meal deals, Superdrug's average price for a beverage on their ongoing offer would see you pay a penny more maximum to get the same drink, you'd get here which is terrible pricing to the competition. One of the few places in the station to get travel accessories and essentials in regards to a small selection of newspapers and magazines and the selection overall is okay, nothing to write home about, which ironically is what I'm doing, having arrived back in Manchester from a trip to Brighton. 2*
