The staff are absolutely wonderful and so helpful and the range of books is absolutely excellent. The only drawback is the fact the lift is tiny and the stock is quite close together which makes it tricky (but certainly not impossible) to traverse with a wheelchair

In a bustling city, there was a small bookstore tucked away on a quiet street. The elderly owner, Mr. Thompson, had a peculiar ability ? he could recommend books that seemed tailor-made for each visitor. One day, a shy teenager named Lily entered the store seeking solace from the challenges of adolescence. Mr. Thompson, with a knowing smile, handed her a dusty volume titled "The Symphony of Dreams."As Lily delved into its pages, she discovered a world where imagination held the power to overcome adversity. The characters in the book faced struggles similar to her own, and through their journeys, Lily found courage and inspiration. Grateful, she returned to the bookstore to thank Mr Thompson, only to find the store vanished, leaving behind a note that read, "The magic of stories is in their ability to find us when we need them most."Years later, Lily opened her own bookstore, vowing to share the magic of books with others. And every now and then, a shy teenager would enter, seeking solace, and Lily would recommend a dusty volume titled "The Symphony of Dreams," passing on the enchantment that had changed her life.

Busy and staff tried to help bit 3 out of the four books I tried to buy were not available. More to do with stock rather than staff or venue.

Lovely store; found almost everything I was looking for, and when a book I wanted wasn't in stock the staff gave me plenty of options for how to get it ASAP! Spoke to two amazing members of staff for a while, really friendly bunch; will definitely be back soon :)

Amazing store in Brighton, couldn't believe how well its layout. Just one floor after another. My children have all were really impressed too couldn't leave until they all had a new one. Also one member was very kind to my son who suffers from autism with his interest in crime novels She was definitely very knowledgeable. In all a very welcoming place with alot to offer.

A true lover of Waterstones; however, the service that I just experienced was outrageous. Had been in the store for 15 minutes and then my young son asked to use the toilet in the cafe (it was 7 minutes before closing) and the young women behind the counter, told my child that the toilets were closed!! Not allowing a 7 year old child to use the toilet - outrageous!!

A large Waterstones spread over 4 floors. Elevator access for those who need it and a nice cafe on the 3rd floor where you can thumb through your new purchases.

First time in the store - it's on several floors, big place! A bit mind blowing but the teller checked for the book, had time to take me to the right floor and find it.I have to say I'm amazed - and very impressed!A great bookstore, and with more time I could spend an hour or two and search for various genres. Definitely recommended.

Good selection of interesting books, even if there are too many 'self help' books and celebrities trying to make a bob by selling their boring stories. Staff are always very helpful.

Went to a book signing with another family too and were treated so nicely. It was well organised, no stress, friendly and very enjoyable.
