Best hotel in Brighton!!Located right on the beach front by the old pier. The external of the building is art deco style with lots of balconies. On arrival there is a porter that can park your car for you. Parking and valet service is £40.Check in wasn?t till 4pm, which was a tad late. But we were able to store our bags in the hotel for a few hours whilst checking out Brighton. The bar area was very busy and very grand/stylish. There was a huge Christmas tree in the entrance, which was stunning. Our room was located on the first floor with a sea view- which was stunning. The room decor was beautiful. Huge tv with sky which was great. The breakfast was buffet style, standard continental breakfast with English fry up available. A nice touch was an omelette chef that you could order with and they bring to your table when it?s ready.Room was £340 for one night, which is quite expensive. I think the room itself is worth £200. But I guess you?re paying for the sea view and location.

Amazing place with great history and very distinctive interior. Perfect location and million pounds views from front terrace. exemplary service in f&b outlets. If you want to come for cocktails, tea or a nice meal in Brighton, the Grand hotel is definitely a place to consider.

It was a good price for my room, but I didn't like or was unable to use the Nespresso machine. Give me a kettle any day! There was one but hidden in a cupboard! An excellent breakfast, but it is a self service buffet that ends at 10:30am. Lovely location opposite the sea, but I did find it further than I expected to walk from the railway station.

Certainly lives up to its name! A beautiful hotel with exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff. The room was excellent, I couldn't find fault with it. The breakfast was lovely, lots of tasty foods to choose from for various dietary requirements. The cocktails in the bar downstairs were also lovely! Location is great, right on the beach front and walking distance to the pier and lanes in Brighton. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will certainly stay here again and recommend it to others!

Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with views East and West along the beach. The bed was comfy, decor in good condition and bathroom was lovely. Service was excellent - all staff I interacted with hit a good balance of professional rather than formal, and there was always warmth in their approach. The only minor downside was noise, which is no fault of the hotel, as it was coming from other establishments in the vicinity.

Went for afternoon tea with a disabled friend. Concierge was unhelpful, just pointed us towards the outside lift which was impossible to hold the door open and push a wheelchair in at the same time so I had to go and look for help (I later realised there were 5 staff at reception, maybe they need more at the door?). Staff inside were OK, waitress was lovely. The (vegan) afternoon tea was beautifully presented as was the room we were in. The savouries were nice though one sandwich was inedible and tasted of stale tomato. The cakes were overly sweet and seemed a bit stale and dry. The scones were hard. My friend was happy with his non vegan food so maybe it's just the vegan cakes that were lacking. The pots of tea we had were lovely. Quite honestly I expected better from The Grand at £38 each.

The Grand Brighton is a truly splendid hotel that offers a fantastic experience for guests. Located right on the Brighton seafront, the hotel boasts breathtaking views of the English Channel. The rooms are elegantly designed with a touch of luxury, and the staff is exceptionally attentive and accommodating. The hotel's restaurant serves delicious cuisine, and the spa and wellness facilities provide a relaxing escape. Whether you're in Brighton for business or leisure, The Grand Brighton is an excellent choice for a comfortable and memorable stay.

Popped in for after dinner drinks after dining at the Salt Room next door. Unbelievably loud music in the mostly empty bar area-we were told this was for the benefit of the manager and invited to sit in the conservatory where there was equally loud but different music playing concurrently. Eventually and after a polite request, the volume in both areas was reduced significantly

Stayed at The Grand last night. The room was fine, as was the breakfast although there are a few niggles that I have. Waited for ages in the bar when ordering a negroni and had to remind the very nice waitress as they?d forgotten the order. Wasn?t impressed by the carpet stuck down with gaffer tape and to be honest, a lot of the hotel looked a bit worn. Still, the staff were delightful and the room service I ordered was also delicious. I always thought this was a 5*, but I can see now why it?s a 4*. It?s a nice hotel, but it doesn?t have the ?wow? factor.

The hotel was fine , however at breakfast we asked for an omelette as that it what we prefer. It?s the first hotel where they refused to make us an omelette and we were disappointed Apart from the restaurant the rest was pretty basic

I must say I was not impressed with the Brighton Grand. The decor , the lighting and bedroom ( carpet stuck down with gaffer tape) were all dim and dated. The breakfast was one of the worst hotel breakfasts I have had for a long time and I was served a steak for dinner that was a much cheaper cut of beef, my guess was it was Silverside being sold as a Sirloin Can I suggest you look at other hotels charging the rates the Grand is charging and see what they are offering customers. Your hotel is very much yesteryear and is somewhat behind what a customer expects and gets. I suggest you look at Hilton?s and Firmdale Hotels to see what you can get in London for the price you are charging per night. I feel completely ripped off. I actually had to have a shower when I came home as I felt so dirty from using the bathroom in my room which certainly was not fit for a King.

Booked a suite as wanted to enjoy 3 days for special occasions, was expensive but thought it would be worthwhile.Hotel communal areas are very tired In places but you have to respect it?s an old beautiful building that still delivers the opulence when you enter until you look more closely!Breakfast and staff amazing, Cyan restaurant, food & staff amazingViews from our room couldn?t have been beaten but room needed some attention, towel rail hanging off and wash basin cracked, furniture a bit battered. My main disappointment was no mini bar provided just plastic bottles of water & basic biscuits, I?m sure for the cost of the room some little touches could be added to make it more special, other less expensive hotels provide these touches and this is what I think most people like to have.I did complain to the duty manager who did try and make amends but it would have been nice not to have had to complain given the cost of the stay.

We were at the Grand for afternoon tea. The food was delicious and the service was brilliant. The afternoon tea was served overlooking the sea which was lovely. Lovely building and well worth visiting. I will return on my next visit to Brighton.
