My partner bought a polo top for Christmas and usual size was like a marquee on me and I have actually put on weight over Christmas. It came with a small stain on collar. We tried to find smaller size in London unsuccessfully. In the Brighton branch today we found something else, but manager was not very kind and refunded less than the difference as if it was a huge favour rather than in the terms, and seemed to think it had been worn and damaged by me. Yes, it was worn for 10 seconds to see the terrible fit. Left a bad taste about Ted and I wont be back when there are plenty of other nice places with proper quality and good service.

I have been here multiple times, and the staff are hit or miss. Sometimes helpful staff and sometimes rude and arrogant staff. I suggest the store do a staff re-training.

Very helpful staff but they were closed for lunch when I arrived and I had to wait which was not great as I only had 30 minutes break

Picture the scene, I walk into Ted Baker Brighton to browse the charms and trinkets they have on display. Like a lightning bolt my attention snaps onto a golden bumble bee bracelet. Bees are the most important creatures on earth so I had to have it. I beckoned over a member of staff called Alexander who came over to retrieve the treasure from a locked cabinet. While he retrieved my desired item from is glass prison I conversed with a younger girl called Millie before being led over to the till to be served by Alicia and Lisa. The whole team where amazing and delt with my capricious purchase perfectly.

Having spent 2 days trying to locate a pair of trainers , and speaking several times to the headquarters of Ted Baker I was lucky enough to speak to the manager Lisa at Ted Baker store Brighton!

THE WORST SERVICE. Alicia and Charlotte gave me the RUDEST customer service I have ever received. AVOID this branch at all costs unless you want to be laughed at and spoken down to and made a joke of. Was told the manager would contact me regarding this and 3 WEEKS later received NOTHING. Chased this up with Grace at their complaints department and was told 'the store manager will NOT be in touch as it is not a LEGAL REQUIREMENT'. Management and staff have formed an unprofessional clique and will be as rude to you as they like. Seems like i'm not the only one to have experienced this. RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I love Ted Baker clothes but I had an extremely poor experience in this store today. Completely ignored by the staff when I walked in, I was standing looking at menâ??s shoes for a while, I clearly needed help, no one offered it. I took a shoe down & went over to the till. Waited ages for someone to come over. Waited for the shoes to arrive so looked at wallets & other items as another member of staff looked on as though I was about to shoplift something! I picked up a gift voucher box by the side of the till which seemed to prompt this member of staff to come over & ask if she could help. She then told me I shouldnâ??t have picked up the gift box!! Excuse me? Iâ??m about to spend hundreds of pounds in your store!! I havenâ??t come in to be ignored, treated like a thief & told not to touch things. I donâ??t like leaving bad reviews, and I canâ??t give 1 star as I love the clothes too much, but epic fail by shop staff today.

I returned some items and firstly she looked annoyed at me for returning things, she went through the process of scanning them without looking at me or speaking to me for the ten minutes it took then was snappy with me because I didn't have the card I'd paid with. I asked if it the refund could go on another card and she snappily said 'as long as it's you' which made me feel like a criminal. So I gave her some ID.
I never write reviews but I left the shop feeling like I was an unwelcome burden even though I'd actually spent £200 on the items I'd kept. If she always behaves like that, she's letting the store and other employees down. It does t take much to be a warm and polite to customers.
