I almost gave you a negative review... I think I know why. You guys are probably getting bad reviews from the Post office at 7 Hollingbury place in Hollingdean! I suggest you look into it because their service is shockingly bad. They have also hidden themselves with some SEO tricks online probably because they already now how bad they are. When I searched for "post office in Hollingdean, the Dip' google it took me to your details only after writing and uploading my review did I realise it was the wrong post office. I've fixed my mistake and directed my review and concerns at them. I have been in your post office before and the service has been absoloutley fine and the ladies where really nice in there. I might start using you guys instead of the one in Hollingbury place. Despite them being round the corner from me. I hope this helps and see you soon!

Staff are always very helpful and I have posted many times here and haven't had any trouble with anything :)

Not sure if the negative reviews are referring to the same two people but I have always found the staff here friendly and helpful.

Great service here and staff always very helpful, for example this morning when getting currency. Excellent.

Worth travelling a bit further to get a good post office like this one! The lady could not have been more helpful. Will definitely be back here.

Nice post office and a really hard working post master. This shop has bent over backwards to continue to offer a wide schedule of opening hours, this not only assists the public but businesses too. No post office is a get rich scheme and despite the slashing of payments it?s great to see a post master continuing to provide that level of good old customer service.I note people?s comments on some of these reviews about friendliness, there?s more to that picture than meets the eye with the older lady in particular, she?s hard working and tries her best. The service is efficient, the small team are friendly, but perhaps direct in some cases. I would def recommend this office as one of the more efficient ones in Brighton, if you fancy trying a bad one, go down the dip just 5 mins walk away

I've been to Post Offices all over the world, and this is by far the best I've ever encountered. The gentleman who owns it is a lovely man and Eleanor who works with him is an absolute gem. The shop is well-stocked; the Post Office counter is open on a Sunday - nothing is too much trouble for them. I'd go out of my way to come here - it's a very heartwarming experience. If there were industry awards I would nominate them for charm and friendliness and the excellent service they provide to the community here. First class!

Worst service from the two behind the post office counter. Never had worse customer service, particularly from the old woman. Everything is met with such rudeness and snappy comments. I post a lot on behalf of my company so unfortunately have to be in there often. I dread it when it begins to look like i?ve drawn the short straw and get the old woman. God forbid she has to do her job and scan some parcels in.

I like this post office and the people who run it. They have always been polite and helpful to me, sometimes going well out of their way to help out. I have a pretty good idea why they are getting slated here by a few though. I've seen the woman who works there give at least as good as she got from entitled people.. ..

Love that they are open early before work. Really helpful staff too!

I've always had amazing service here, friendly and helpful staff. I'd be so lost without this post office!!

Really rude staff, in both sections of the shop, the owners come across as greedy, disgruntled and miserable. They are more expensive than any other post office and have absolutely no customer service manners. I dread going there, it's only ever out of desperation as it's close! The woman gave me any old package with my street name on it when collecting, I had to give it back to her and ask for the one with my name on it!

Friendly local post office, I went in and my parcel (that I was taking there to post) had come open - they sellotaped it without a second thought. Sometimes they are open but have to shut the front door to close the post office when there's only one person working - knock if it looks like it's closed early. I'll be coming again!

Misssarasharp...I couldn't agree more. That woman is always rude, to the point of it being comical. I taped a stamp down to make sure it didn't fall off and she asked me to put it up to the window, then said 'closer', with a sigh, as if i was reusing a stamp. Who does she think she is.Blatant rudeness. People have been in the queue rolling their eyes at each other on many occasions, at the way she is talking to the customer she is serving. I asked for a small piece of tape she and got the right hump. I only ever go there, if i'm late posting. The grey, balding bloke is an odd one, too. The new dark haired man is lovely, though. Shame he isn't always there.

Good opening hours and the guy who works in the shop section is really nice (he deals with parcels sometimes too). I've not been to the dedicated parcel section/spoken to the lady because that part of the shop is usually shut when I get there. Shame you can't do label-less returns here and have to go to the Royal Mail office on North road.
