?I sent a 2nd class package to Birmingham, but after 11 days, my friend did not receive it. It was obvious that it had been lost, and when I sent it, the staff was very impatient. And my package was consistent with the official website regulations while they want me upgraded postage! I declined the upgrade service and the package was also lost, unable to check any information! A very bad experience!

I don't like writing negative reviews, but this place is run by people who don't care one iota about decent customer service. It's supposed to be open til 5pm, so I arrived at 4.45pm and queued for 5 minutes, before being told they were shutting after the customer in front of me. I looked at my watch; it said 4.50pm. There were 2 other people in the queue behind me. I mentioned they're supposed to be open til 5pm and I was just dropping off a return, which would take him 1 minute. The guy behind was doing the same. His reply "it needs scanning, so it's work" and to come back tomorrow. I told him I couldn't come back tomorrow. He had a colleague there doing nothing. I asked if he could help us. His reply "I've closed my til". Utterly useless.

AVOID THIS POST OFFICE Rude and unhelpful staff. I got there with ten minutes to spare and they tried to tell me it was 5 and they had to close. After proving the time on my phone they posted 1 of my 2 parcels, then went off to argue with another customer and when he came back he said it was too late to send the other!

The Post Office employee refused to accept my parcel. It had a bottle of wine in. I wanted to sent it to France. He referred me to a list of restricted goods that could be sent. It included alcohol above 24%. Wine is not above 24%. He wouldn't take it anyway. Arbitrary refusal to accept packages is not okay. Maybe he had something against alcohol. Waste of my time.

Notice on the door states that they close at 18:00 so I was surprised to find them locked up and closed at 17:31. Either don't close early or change the displayed opening times.

'There's been a strike so there's a baglog of parcels so you'll need to buy special delivery."Turns out the strike was called off until a later date.I feel like a mug for believing the guy. Hes a liar, at best ignorant.

Went to pick up my parcel and ran from work to get there at 17:50 on a Friday when they state on their website they are open until 18:00 and they were closed.

Another day I arrived at 17:52 and they were locking the door roller shutter. I wonder what time they close till? They had a cigarette in mouth at 17:53 ready to leave. They?ve overcharged me on many occasions and the store inside is not clean. Not a pleasant place to visit. Covid rules were often not followed.

My favourite Post Office in Brighton area and I used Post Offices a lot. They are always helpful and efficient, they accept pre pay Royal Mail drop off without drama, they accept large Parcel Force parcels again without drama and they are always friendly and pleasant about it. You wouldn't believe that at some Post Offices you get attitude from the staff for dropping off your Parcel Force parcel if it is large, OK it's heavy and bulky and I can understand it a bit, but it's Parcel Force that say it is OK to drop it off there.

Do not go here. This post office will charge you the incorrect amount of money. On multiple occasions I have had to correct them on the price however I have continued to go back for convenience of location. After my experience today I will not be going back. The young girl who served me was so rude.

I have used this post office several times and each time they have charged me incorrectly. One time the tried to overcharge for purchasing an envelope (£0.50 and they tried to charge £1). They have also overcharged for postage on several occasions (e.g. charging me for two international stamps when I mailed one international and one second class item). I?ve learned my lesson and will not be going back! Steer clear!

Can I just say, after reading some reviews, that the staff are not really responsible for providing sellotape etc. I know that each individual thinks oh surely you can just do this for me and I have thought the same thing but it is not really fair to them. I suppose they could do it to be really nice but they are probably constantly being asked the same thing. Surely we can take our own or buy it.Also they are not responsible for the time it takes for a package to arrive at its destination.

I gave necessary ID/proof of purchase to collect a parcel (it stated on the website I bought from what proof was needed in order to collect my parcel) but I was refused service until I walked all the way home in the rain to get my drivers licence. Only when I came back with this was I allowed to pick up my parcel. I have never had this issue at other post offices and the man who served me was rude and muttering words under his breath. Just poor service overall. I much preferred the previous owners of this business at least you could chat with them and have a good service with smiles.
