Service is sometimes spotty, they don't appear to instill the philosophy that everyone should help even if a customer is in a department outside their immediate responsibility. Staff often hurries past when you are obviously looking for help. Or, most recently, when attempting to exchange an item, I told the staff member at the returns desk that I had to go back to my car since I'd forgotten the item I was meaning to exchange. Less than 30 seconds later I returned and the same person stepped from behind the counter as I was just walking back toward his counter. Strange! He returned in a few minutes, but was strange.When they didn't have the item I was looking for as a replacement, he directed me to their website to order the desired item rather than to order it for me(?!).They (the company) could learn loads studying Best Buy and their approach to customer service.

A good lad called Jack helped me a lot today. I was looking for a laptop but didn?t really know where to start. He talked me through everything I needed to know including the specifications of each model he showed me and answered every question I had. A* customer service.

I am a regular customer of currys. However it seems a question of luck with customer assistance.Sometimes you get people really interested in helping you sometimes just trying to show off how much they know, when they actually don't.Yesterday 21.10.23. I went to buy a pen to write on my touch screen. The staff who suppose to know, told me for a start the pen I was looking for was not available in store. I insisted I saw it online that it was available for collection. He said it may be for a different branch. Once he saw it was Hove where I was, he was persistent what I was looking for wouldn't work and gave a long instruction to find online. Honestly, as if his job was to avoid I bought the the product.I was very dissatisfied, yet I decided to ask someone else.Second person REALLY made up for first one and even apologised for them. The pen was I was looking for was available and perfect for what I needed.Same happened when I bought a chromebook laptop. Not everything was explained to me. Laptop cannot be returned.Store has lots of staff but some of the them look as they are there forced and not interested in "HELP"..

My recent experience at Currys in Hove left me with some constructive feedback. While I appreciate the wide range of electronic products they offer, I encountered a few issues during my visit.Firstly, the organization and layout of the store could be improved. It felt a bit cluttered and overwhelming, making it challenging to find specific items. Clearer signage and a more organized display could enhance the shopping experience.Additionally, the customer service could benefit from some improvement. I found it difficult to get assistance when I had questions about certain products. More readily available staff or a designated help desk would be helpful.On a positive note, I'm hopeful that Currys in Hove can make these improvements. With a bit of reorganization and a focus on customer service, they have the potential to provide an even better shopping experience for their customers.

It was very busy and it was difficult to find someone who could help regarding a laptop I was interested in. After about 15 minutes we got assistance but the laptop was out of stock. There was no offer to order it in or get one delivered, instead I was being pushed to buy a different and lower spec laptop for the same price and told it was better - it's not. We left and drove to another branch in Worthing, where we had a much better experience.We've bought from this branch on many occasions over the years and not had many problems. Perhaps we were just unlucky with who served us this time.

The staff were very quick to resolve any problems and questions I had regarding my purchase and the bundles. Hurera in particular helped me and my family out and simplified some of the specialist terms for us. Wonderful store with wonderful staff.

Looking at the reviews it's a mixed bag. I can only go by my experience of curry and it's a good one. Helpful staff and there's more than enuff if them. Lots of room to move around and the all important parking.

Very poor customer service. Staff really dont seem to care. Omar in Particular not only very unhelpful. Couldn't even look up to make eye contact when talking to us.

Went yesterday 20th of July 2023 , to buy a 50" or similar TV. There wasn't even a single 1 available in store of any brand. I found it so weird so back home i went online to check click and collect Currys Old Shoreham rd and found many TV available for collection the same day.Clearly the staff served me couldn't care less about selling a TV.

AWFUL staff - nobody at the till! Then when someone came, it was all he could do to look at us. I couldn't believe anyone would have employed him to work there. VERY expensive.

It is a very big place with a huge amount of stocks, well presented, room for mobility scooters, big parking, helpful staff, it's amazing, I will go back A++

I ordered an American style fridge//freezer. The salesman asked if I wanted to pay £40 for installation. £40 to plug it in? Obviously I said no. When it arrived, the delivery guy said it wouldn't fit through the door. Clearly he was right, it was huge. He said if I had paid the £40 they would have taken the doors off to get it in and put it back together inside. As I hadn't, they just left it outside for me to deal with. I could have refused delivery, but I needed it, so I had no choice but to do it myself.I would happily have paid the £40 had the salesman explained that to me. Just a moment's thought could have saved me 2 hours of frustration. Will go elsewhere for my next appliance.
