Would like to say that I?ve had a very positive experience with Belvoir and their team. Although I didn?t end up renting with them, their time, knowledge and consideration went a long way, and would definitely recommend!

Having made a booking a week ago to view an apartment, and after calling them to advise this was too long, they went and accepted an offer from someone else days earlier, and told me 1 hour before. Complete waste of time, however, judgeing by the number of one star ratings and the many dire issues within this company, it was probably my luck that I didnt rent with them after all.

Lottie and Langton provided excellent service in helping me buy my first property. I was consistently provided with updates, I never had to chase them for information. They were supportive, transparent, and empathetic through each stage and also had a good communication relationship with the solicitors. It has been such a difficult market during the last year and they did everything possible to help me complete.

For first time renters we found Belvoir to be exceptionally reliable and friendly. We had all of our checks swiftly and efficiently checked and the welcome package was a lovely touch.

Awful company, avoid at all costs!!Lived in a student house under Belvoir for 11 months, which was an awful experience. Before we even moved in it took me and my housemates months to get some sort of contract from them only to be handed it a few days before we moved in, this was supposedly due to the fact that the person handling our house was on leave which we were not informed of. Once we moved in, it was clear to see no one had visited the house beforehand as the property was not clean at all and the boiler had completely broken leaving us with no hot water for about a week!!! The communication with Belvoir was horrendous as they usually wouldn?t pick up the phone or you'd be transferred to a different line who promised to call back and they never would. We also received multiple emails from several Belvoir employees which became very confusing on who was our main point of contact and most of the time they were all useless. This office is full of people who don?t know how to do their job correctly and don?t have a clue what?s going on ever, it?s extremely unprofessional and when they are wrong it becomes the tenet's fault! I have been out of my house for over a month now and after being told two different time frames for when I would receive my deposit, which have both now passed, I still have had nothing from Belvoir with multiple emails ignored and being lied to on the phone. The office is a shambles and I would never recommend to any other students.

I've been in my belvoir property for about a month and there have been countless issues such as; broken fire alarms, extreme leaking, we still cannot access our bins for the majority of the time, no WiFi for 8 days total and no lights for almost two weeks- with no other sources of lights provided until a cleaner complained to belvoir (but belvoir were aware of the issues, but did not give us anything (lamps) for a week and a half). They still have not fixed the water damage or updated us on it, and when we asked how the heating worked, we were told it was our responsibility to figure it out. We understand this, but we are not familiar with the heating system and are living on our own for the first time. The radiators also have no plastic caps to turn which is also frustrating.

Avoid - had no heating or hot water for a month, rented two houses on two occasions which were filthy when I moved in, plasters, hair, Food left in kitchen, mould, broken cupboards, fridges, boiler, Illegal oven, overgrown garden. Could never get through to any agents over the phone or via email, the were rude and dishonest, at the end of our tenancy we were wrongly changed and I spent 6 months chasing it up.

the house was run down and the agency did not do much to help. Also the boiler was broken despite the agency having sent in an engineer for maintenance. I attended up paying for the repair myself.

Avoid!!! Sort reviews by lowest rating to see the facts! There are people around me who were victims of this agency by many! Nathan and his team are never honest. Their employees will never give you accurate information. They're always willing to bother you if they get stuck. They intrude into your home and expect you to take it for granted! They send annoying and amateur people to the maintenance of the houses. And when your home needs maintenance, they don't return to your e-mails. When complained to council, they give false information and accuse you! I hope the trade standards and the ombudsman teach you the essentials. Also: Dozens of reviews that have only 1 review and give 5 stars are just suspicious!

I spoke to one of your colleagues called Namphet about wanting to find properties to rent and may I say she was an absolute angel. She was able to talk me through everything and at the end of it I felt as if she answered all of my questions to its fullest extent. A great team that they have there.

Rented with Belvoir in Brighton for my first flat, every team member I encountered is friendly to me. Especially Ellysia, who is my property manager, always proactive to communicate and help me finding solutions whenever I got a problem.

At the tender age of 71 started looking for a flat to rent in Brighton/Hove this March as planned to spend my retirement time in the South for now.Although have had some experience in dealing with property agencies in the UK, when I came in contact with BELVOIR my perceptions changed 360 degree : Happy and Satisfied. They deserve 10 stars and not only 5..BELVOIR team exceptional skills in communication and problem solving exceeded my expectation.BELVOIR employees and the management made me feel welcome, comfortable and at ease. They understand what I need/good for me and guided me to select the type of property that most suited my situation than the one I wanted to move in as I was feed up and tired of making appointment/searching/viewing and being disappointed.Would like also to mention excellent professional works by Sadiya who demonstrate a practical and understanding approach to problem solving and frequently take the initiative to answer my questions and provide the way forward. She responded to my emails and phone calls in a timely fashion and maintain clear and positive reply in conjunction with the team in BELVOIR.Must conclude with a great big thank you to the team in BELVOIR, specially to Sadiya and wish them all the best in the future .CheersMehdi Honar

We used Belvoir for a rental property in Hove. All communications have been swift and professional. There have been some minor miscommunications which were quickly clarified. Our main contact was with Freya, with occasional communications with Tate and Ellysia.Overall they have been helpful, friendly and provided lots of detail and accurate information.Since moving in to our new home they have remained as helpful and professional as they were before any monies were handed over, which with other agencies this is when things tend to fall by the wayside and become an obvious lack of priority.We definitely recommend Belvoir!

We are having to move within the Hove area due to a massive rental hike +£300. Shannon showed us a lovely property within our current budget but we couldn't commit until our rent review is settled. Shannon was totally understanding and empathic.Shannon was waiting for us and on time at the property. She immediately understood our rather vague situation. There was no pressure. Above all, Shannon is a good listener and a real credit to Belvoir B&H.
