Wickes is my go-to store for building materials, great for wood, cement, plaster and paint ect. They sell most things the building trade or home DIY need. They also sell hand and power tools. The staff are very friendly knowledgeable and helpful.

I have used Wickes for most of my materials since they first moved to Hull and their store on Hedon Road. I do not however, take kindly to being insulted and called a bigot by their Chief Ops Officer and will intend to take heed of his warning that bigots such as I are not welcome in your store so will not be using them in the future. Leave the woke garbage within the walls of your offices in future.

Small Wickes with limited stock the items I wanted were at the Beverley shop. Apart from that it looked a bit tired and not one of their best outlets

Always use the Beverley branch for everyday stuff, quite happily.Went to the Hessle branch for bathroom suites, but there was only 1 bath on display.
