Updated againHad a rather awful email stating I could only have a repair as I was 9 days out of the 30 day rule. I'm not happy and have to accept but please think before you buy from this store as they have shoddy after care and once your furniture leaves the building you may as well forget any customer service. That's my final update over but SCS what a bunch of cowboys!!! Walk past the shop and keep walking I've never dealt with a company like them!!! Truly disgusting!!!!!!!!!Update on my Sofa!!!As I've had my sofa for 39 days not 30 days I have to accept repair!! SCS only give you a new replacement if you have had your sofa for 30 days or less. However clearly the sofa was delivered with a fault, only 2 people had sat on the sofa - I live alone and use the two seater. I am clearly not happy... why would I want a whole frame repairing this early on in a sofas life? Who actually would want that and if its broken once what confidence will I have moving forward? This is on gong as I wont settle for a repair but beware that after care is not SCS forte in fact at this stage I'm really not sure what is to be honest, but I will keep this post updated and if by chance they do the right thing I will post and say that, but lets see as I am now waiting for a call from another Manager watch this space! I say again buyer beware!Poor poor poor!! Sofa collapsed at the front after 5 weeks of being delivered, contacting customer services was a nightmare took me two days and the manager at the Hull store completely ignored my emails. I am waiting now - having spoken to customer service to see how the process goes from here as communication, customer service and professionalism has been very poor up until now! I did a review for them and funnily enough it was rejected and it was along the lines I'm writing now so please be aware that any reviews they have on show aren't a true reflection of the service that you get.I ordered my carpet at the same time as the sofas and the service was awful mis sold carpet care which was added onto my bill without my knowledge. No communication on the day of delivery we literally waited until 6.35pm and at this point I had called the customer services and was told by 4pm!! The carpet salesman was rude and abusive and the manager helpful until delivery and then her whole attitude changed.Very disappointing after sales care, however Harland the sofa salesman was honest and friendly and the sofa delivery guys had excellent communication and turned up on time.Lets see how they manage my broken sofa I have been passed to an insurance company as SCS don't care once they have done the sale!!! So buyers beware!!

We ordered a settee from scs delivery was 12 weeks. 11 weeks in asked for payment we paid in full. Settee arranged delivery on the friday for the van to arrive at our property no settee. To be told parts missing. I phoned customer service to be told the parts was in shop it would be delivered the next day. Which it wad with parts still misdibg. To be told by customer service that it would be 3 workibg days fir parts to come. 2 week later to be told now its gunnna be 4 weeks. Absolutely disgusted with service. Wish we had got our money back. Very disappointed customer

Paul, sales manager at the store, was really helpful and knowledgeable. After an online furniture purchase saga, it was a relief to speak with someone in the know. The options were plentiful and we found something that's just right for us. The purchase options are workable for any budget too! Really pleased with the process so far and can't wait for the new suite to arrive.

Don?t deserve even a 1 starAppalling service , lied to by salesman and left with no sofa and no solution because it?s a weekend.Promised backs can come off to fit in our property but sent us a split unit , been told they can take it apart and rebuild in my house which is no good as we are due to move soonDelivery this was a whole new battle twice they cancelled my delivery lost a days wages and still left with no couch. Made complaint about persons asking for manager to call me back still waiting more then 48 hours after originally promisedWill never returnManager was useless and nothing offered other then a call Monday

We ordered our sofas while we were in Cyprus brilliant service very helpful staff, now let?s get on to delivery ?? I got a call to say sofas are ready for delivery great I said we gave the date we were moving into our new home I said we don?t get keys until after 12 I stated this is important that you can?t deliver until after 12 no problem she said on the phone it will be booked in for after 12 delivery, got an email a day before the move because hey moving isn?t stressful at all is it ??? your sofas will be delivered between 7am and 12 .we?ve managed to arrange everything and that includes moving back from Cyprus to uk without any problems, then because people in your company don?t communicate with each other stress levels have gone through the roof there?s no way we can get to the house for 7 am and sit and wait until 12 so they will be sent back or left in the bloody street.the only way you got 3 stars is because of the nice staff we spoke to when ordering

Just had my carpets put down again from March first one was faulty and uplifting went back in store to reorder a different carpet however they brought the same one they have laid the carpet I can't open or close my doors properly and still uplifting near the door the carpet fitters said its my flooring that's uneven so why wasn't I told this in the beginning however saying that y previous carpet before I ordered anything from scs was from a family run business which I had no issue of fitting the carpet and my flooring was just the same this company doesn't care my problem is still not resolved they are obviously only out for the money and no other reason I did not even get a courtesy call to ask if the issue had been resolved I strongly advise you not to buy from this company

This is the worst company I have ever ever dealt with order my sofa in January got told it would be delivered in June.then I got a email for delivered on the 1st of July which is a Friday because of work I only get Monday and Tuesday off .they are telling me they can only deliver it the following Friday doesn't matter how many times I told them I cannot accept a delivery on a Friday because of work and all they kept on saying well we can deliver it the Friday after .this is the worst company going I cannot even get a refund .all she kept on saying is which Friday is best for u time and time again.
